Lashay Pov

"Beep! Beep!" Ugh, I got little sleep last night I stayed up studying for this test I feel like falling back to sleep in my bed this is not my day at all. I already had my clothes set out for today.

I braided my hair in 2 braids my natural 4c hair some people believe this all ain't my hair but it is trying to tell them all the time but thats on them if they believe or not.

I went into the bathroom to look at myself in the mirror and made sure I was okay, which I wasn't I needed to wash my face and brush my teeth of course.

After I got done brushing my teeth and washing my face I went to eating my small breakfast and got my phone from off the charger to see the time it was getting late. So I had to quickly eat my food.

As soon as I got done with my food I placed it in the sink and got my book bag and jacket and went outside but before I did a note had got me.

Dear Lashay,

We're gone for a business trip again and as hope, u can maintain the house there's money on the counter we gave u extra money just in case you want to spare it with your friends.

Again they left me they could've taken me with them to go I don't wanna school today but not today Monday. That's why I hate Mondays One it's a school day Two it's when my parents leave and they don't come back until next Saturday.

But im not complaining about it at least there's no calling my name downstairs when im upstairs and I got extra money. Welcome to my life this might as well be my house how long they are gone on these business trips.

"Oh my goodness the bus!" I yelled and rushed outside to the stars bus and luckily I made it onto the bus. "Hey Girl!" "Lashay over here!" "No, come sit by me!" I waved at everyone on the bus and took a seat by myself in the back row cause it always is hype in the back of the bus, It was hot as heck so I opened the window.

And as you guessed already yes im popular here at this school I've been here since 11 years old a preteen and now I am 18 going on 19. I was the last person to get on the bus and we were headed to the school.

We were already late thanks to me but I guess they didn't have a problem with waiting, Everybody here on the bus was talking about this week and what they been doing and all of that stuff I didnt want to listen to so I turned on some music while we were on the bus.

I paused my music and looked through the window which showed outside and When I looked out the window we were at the school which said California K-12 school (I didn't know what to name it) and we got off the bus entering the school building as the bus went down the street going back to the bus station where it belongs.

We all went into the school and put our Jackets inside the lockers and parted to go into our classes my first class was ELA class with Mr.Jacobs he was cool and chill when he wanted to be.

He wasn't on us like most teachers would be as long as u do what's expected of you, we never heard him yell before but we knew it was somewhere in there if u messed up or got onto his wrong side.
