Standing Up for Him Pt 3

Michael's Pov

I smiled at Lashay wrapped my hand around her shoulder she smiled back at me "Come on Lashay," I said and wrapped my hand back around her shoulder as we walk down the hallway side by side into the classroom.

But before we got into the classroom I had opened the door for her and held it as I stood to the side as she entered, after she entered the classroom I entered the classroom and we collected the stuff we needed for the science project.

After we collected or things we headed towards back towards our seats and sat down at our seats.

"Next Monday class we gonna start on a new project with the same partners u have for this project can anyone guess what the project is?" The teacher asked of us

One student from in the back of our class answer the question " is it the baby project? " He asked and the teacher has smiled and stop pacing around the classroom.

"Yes," the teacher said and continue talking I was confused because I thought we was been supposed to do this but okay.

Right about this time we already started on our science projects together. We talked about it and waited it out while everyone went a head of us. An instead of rushing our project came out just fine while everyone else's project needed to be redone because they didn't take their time.

So therefore we were the first ones done with the project, and everyone came around in awe of what we made out of the project and our teacher took a picture of the project.

"How did u make this?" The teacher asked along with a couple of whispers and gasps going around the class "Well, u see we have good communication and I'm so lucky to have him as a partner because how easy he was to get along with,and also because of his patience"Lashay said when she said that about me I felt so happy I never had anyone say anything good about me unless it's my mother or sisters.

I smiled at her and she looked over to her left to see me standing there smiling like an idiot, we walked back to the middle of the class to sit at our desks. I looked over to my right side and said "Thank you for what u said up there," I said

Lashays Pov

"Your welcome were best friend remember I have nothing but respect,loyalty, and love for you" I said to him, out the corner of my eye I catch smiling again.

"Lashay and Mike!" Our teacher called the both of us, "Since u did so well u can leave the class early today I am very amazed by ur work"we both looked at each other excitingly and smiled and we got up from our chairs and headed outside of the classroom.

Once we got into the hallway we both high five each other and laughed while walking throughout the school hallway as we went to our lockers and put our science notebooks up.

And we got ready for our lunch class "So Michael," I say grabbing his attention he closed his locker and came over to me while I was just standing there at my locker . "Yes?" He said

"What do you wanna do before we go to lunch today?" I said as I closed my locker and we began to walk away from our lockers "Well you wanna go outside for a little bit?" Michael suggested waiting for me to give a 'yes or no' answer.

But I had to give a different answer because I like being different than the others "Sure, why not, but if we're gonna go we have to hurry up!" I said with a smirk on my fave while Michael was still looking confused "Oh, I get it," Michael said with a smile 😊 that warm smile "race you outside!" He said as our giggles filled throughout the hallways of the school as we ran.

"HEY, NO RUNNING IN THE HALLWAYS!" the principal said "Sorry, we won't do it again but right know we're on a mission!" Michael yelled out to the principal I didn't even have to look back to see that the principal was shaking his head as he went back into his office.
