Bakugou's pov

"ughh.." i groan out loud as i slowly bat my eyes open, to see my boyfriend unplug the alarm and open the blinds. "rise and shine kat" he says with a small smile. "tired.." i say while putting my pillow over my head to block out the sun.

i deserve a break after having to be in the studio all night. "come on baby, your surprise is waiting for you on the table~" he says prolonging his words. he does that to make me more interested in knowing things, and i hate to say it but that shit actually works. i immediately threw the pillow to the side and sat up, trying to think of what the surprise could be.

"tell me sho!" "what's the surprise?!" "did those contractors call back?!!"

i look at him with curiosity growing in my mind, but all he does in return is let out a chuckle. "what's so funny, sho?" i asked while tilting my head a bit. was he just messing with me to get me out of bed? he probably doesn't even have a surprise for me..

before more things started to invade my thoughts, he climbs on top of me and kisses my forehead. "i'll give you your surprise after breakfast, katsuki" he said as he kissed me again, and got off me to head to the table.

Todoroki's pov

when i got finished setting the table to my liking and sat down to wait on katsuki, the envelope that was by my plate caught my attention. i know what it's for and i know i was supposed to give it to him yesterday when i checked the mail.. but why? why can't he stay here with me to continue his music carreer?

NO! he's been wanting this ever since we met in middle school and i knew this time was going to come, so i need to learn how to be supportive of him until he gets back from his trip. "i'm going to miss him a lot though" i say in a low tone while i put the envelope under my chair cushion.

Katsuki then comes out of the room and sits in the chair across from mine, "wow sho, did you cook all of this yourself?!" he yells in excitement and shock while picking up his fork to try the food. i smiled at how he glew, when trying the different dishes i set out.

"no, i ordered everything from that fancy diner down the street" i rubbed my head in embarrassment while saying that, and katsuki instantly swallowed his food and slammed his fork down. "i will teach you everything i know, starting tomorrow morning!" he yells.

i let out a chuckle at his bold statement, and drank some of my tea. "why are you laughing? i meant what i said!" he shouts while frowning his eyebrows. i then smiled at him, being so determined and got up to walk over to him.

"are you ready for your surprise, kat?" i asked while taking a small black velvet box from my pocket and getting on one knee beside him. he looked down at me and a light blush creeped up on his cheeks, "..s-sho what are y-you doing?" he asked in a state of shock and confusion.

i look at him and start saying my speech i practiced, "katsuki bakugou, you make me feel happy and loved when i'm with you. and you understood me when i told you about my unsupportive father. you'll be leaving to become more famous in your career, so i want to give you this so you'll always remember me and my love for you" i say while opening the small box to reveal a golden band inside.

Bakugou's pov

when sho showed me the ring i felt my eyes watering, and my cheeks getting warm. "s-sho i-i-i always want y-you to be h-happy!!" i yelled with tears running down my face at this point. sho could tell i was a crying mess, so he got up and hugged me.

"stop crying suki, the neighbors will think something's wrong" he says while petting my hair to calm me down. i "hate" when he does that, but it feels nice. "o-ok" i stutter out.

sho then stops petting my hair and breaks our hug, "i have another surprise for you" he says as he goes back to his chair and grabs what looks like an envelope? "sho, what was an envelope doing under your cushion?" i asked while pointing at his hand.

"open it and see, kat" he says as he walks back over to me and hands me the thin paper.

i looked at it for a few seconds and opened it up to see what it was about. and when i opened it, it was from a well known contractor i wanted to get signed under for a long time! i was too impatient to know what his decision was, so i skimmed through the letter and slammed it down when i saw what it said.

"what's it say kat, is it good news?" sho asked with a little worry in his tone. i looked at him with tears forming and stood up from my chair. "ohh ..suki did they not-" before he could finish i jumped on him and yelled in excitement.

"SHO I DID IT! THEY ACCEPTED ME!!" we both fall on the floor and sho hugs me in a tight grip. "that's amazing baby, i knew you could do it" he says in his usual tone of voice. i know sho isn't the best at showing how he feels, and i'm not either. but, i knew how he meant what he said.

Todoroki's pov

as kat starts to calm down from his excitement, he puts his head deeper in my chest and hugs me tight. "is everything ok, kat?" i asked while sitting up a bit. he nods yes and gives a "mhm" sound in response to what i asked. "you don't seem fine. are you not ready for this? i asked.

he lifts his head up to make eye contact with me, but his facial expression isn't how it was a few moments ago. it's more sader. "..i ..i leave tomorrow morning.. a-and i won't be back for three years.." he explains while putting his head back in my chest.

i knew he'd be gone awhile, but i didn't know it was going to be that long. "katsuki, look at me" i say with a half smile. i know this smile won't cover up the sadness from my voice, but i don't want him to miss his opportunity because of me. he lifts his head back up, and i pull his chin up and plant a gentle kiss on his lips.

after what seemed like a minute i pull away, and look deep in his eyes. "katsuki, i think you should go. don't worry about me, i'll be fine" i tell him while smiling a little bigger than normal.

he smiles back and softly kisses my cheek, "i promise to call and text you as much as i can sho!" he shouts. "..and i promise to support you till the end" i told him while showering him with soft kisses.
