It's a long distance thing

a year has passed..

"oohh, i'm blinded by the lights. no i can't sleep until your touch.."

Todoroki's pov

"another great song suki" i mumble before i sip some of my tea.

"suki huh, is that the nickname you gave him?~" my mother asks with a smug smirk on her face. ever since kat left for america my mom has been staying in the guest room because she says i have too much space and should share it. honestly speaking, she's just tired of the hospital scenery.

"yeah, but i mainly call him kat" i say after drinking the rest of my tea and gather my school bag.

"well isn't that adorable" she says with a gentle smile.

i nod. ever since i moved out of my fathers house and moved in an apartment with kat, my mom and siblings have been by my side. i never told my siblings about me and kat going out, only my mom knows that part. i know i should tell them, but if they knew i was dating a famous singer they'd go crazy. also natsuo can't keep a secret for shit.

"well, i'm going to go now" i say once i stand back up. ( he was putting his shoes on )

"oh look at my handsome son, growing up so fast" "if you keep growing so much you'll get old." i let out a short chuckle and look in her direction, "what, i'm serious shoto" she says.

"i know. i know. i'll try not to grow so much" i say before walking out the door.

as i walked to school i chose to take the scenic rout this time. maybe because me and kat used to take this rout when we wanted to get out the house or maybe because, the scenery looks amazing this time of month.

( we all know the real reason )

when i reach ua i go inside and head to class. i quickly go inside the room and sit down, making sure i don't make eye contact with anyone.

i've been here for a few months now, and i still hate it. ( 'cause his wittle baby isn't there )

"good morning todoroki" midoriya says with his signature smile.

i jump up a little but not to where it was noticeable. where the hell did he come from?

"oh hello midoriya" i say in a little shock. "what did you need?" i ask.

"the flash cards i let you borrow last night" he replies back. i know i asked to use his flash cards last night but to be honest i didn't use them, because me and kat were on a video call all night. what a friend i am..

"can i use them until the test?" i ask. he lets out a small laugh and nods then goes back to his seat. i let out a sigh and pull the flash cards out to begin studying them.

10 minutes later..

i give midoriya his flash cards back and head back to my seat to put my head down. ten minutes of studying isn't that much time, but if i remember right.. the test will be about a random lesson we learned last week which shouldn't be that hard.

from behind me, i hear two girls fangirling which is nothing new. but after a few seconds go by i start to hear more people gathering around them, so i lift my head and turn around in my seat to see what's going on. "hey, what's going on?" i asked with confusion on my face.
