It had been a couple of days since me and Tyler broken up, parted ways or whatever you want to call it. He's brave enough not to come back around, especially with a family who is willing to go out and hunt him down, especially my father. When my mother told him what had happened, he went simply mad, threatening he'll find him and skin him alive for making his ' precious babygirl cry '. But with a few kisses from my mother -- yuck -- he has calmed down a bit but every now and then he'd mumble and grumble.

Skylar, much to my dismay went back home to her father to see if he was alright. I hated for her to leave because even when we were little we were inseparable. But she told me she'd dropped by again sooner or later and told me to call her more often will I'm back at college.

Her and my mother have come up with a team, rooting for me to get with Noah, chanting over and over how he's the right guy for me. But even after telling them for a week straight that I still needed time to get over Tyler, the chanting and rooting never stopped.

My father is also siding with them, which is surprising because he automatically hates any boy that I find interest in, especially after the whole melt down with Tyler. But he somewhat says that it would be okay if I did date Noah because he claims ' the lad meets my standards for dating my babygirl ' -- his words to be exact --.

But so far, my heart is slowly but surely mending it's way back together again. I still can't believe Tyler out of all people, would do such things. I thought he was innocent and goofy and just perfectly charming. Not a lying, filthy, scumbag, cheating bastard! But that just proves to show that you have to be careful around men, their handsome faces are tricking you into believing that they could give you the world but instead they stab you in the back and laugh in your face.

Noah has been like an angel. My mother absolutely loves him and adores any and everything he does. I think she has already considered him the son she never had and whenever I'm in her presence she never fails to embarrass me about how cute her grandchildren would be.

But I agree with her, I'd take this Noah over the old Noah any day. He's no longer an asshole, he doesn't find random women to sleep with just to piss me off, he doesn't make sarcastic remarks at everything I say, and he doesn't act like a douche bag whenever I'm around him. He always asks if he can be close by me, like he's afraid if he handles me wrong, I'll break like fragile glass. He can cook and cleans up after himself like a true gentleman. My father never fails to grow an expression of approval on his face.

" Ma, did aunt Sabrina ever have her baby?" I asked just as I rolled over onto my back on my bed. Me and my mother were in my room just chilling. It was something we used to do when I was a teenager, we'd talk about any and everything.

" Yep." She replied simply as she swung back and forth on the swing my father built into my ceiling a few years ago.

" Really? It was a girl wasn't it?" My aunt Sabrina which is married to my Uncle Carter had been a few months pregnant after I went off to college. This was their third kid and they couldn't be any happier. There was their first kid, Carter jr. who was barely the age of 5. Then there was Mia, who just turned 3 a few months ago. And now there is kid number 3 who I have yet to meet.

Last I remember, Carter jr. was a short little spawn of satan! He was bad as hell, throwing his toys at my head whenever I babysat him and being mean to Mia whenever she played with him. Hopefully the little booger has become nicer, I mean after all he has a baby sister and a little brother to be role models to.
