Jai and Noah sat at the big open table that was littered with paper balls and blue prints while their faces held nothing other than deep focus. The air was rather tense, something that I had gotten used to over the countless hours that I have been here. I was now seated in a rather comfy cushioned office chair due to Jai being the only sympathetic one in the room who cares about my well being and checks up on me every few minutes or so.
I was tired but my curiosity got the better of me and I forced myself to stay awake to figure out what was going on. Meanwhile, I got to know one of the scary body guards, who turned out not be so scary. His name was Benny, he had only one daughter named Clementine who safely tucked away with his wife of ten years in Japan. He had told me that if he ever wound up dead, he never wanted his wife, especially his daughter to be targeted.
I had asked why had he pledged his allegiance to such a dangerous job but he told me that he used to be a great friend of Noah and Jai's mother, and he swore on his life that he'd do his best to keep them safe. He also mentioned that he helped take care of the two when they were younger and that Jai was the one who was open to try anything whip Noah on the other hand was the reserved one.
Pssh.. Could of fooled me, he can't even be reserved with his dick. How well reserved he is..
" Okay, so we know he knows what we know. And sooner or later he and his little crew are gonna come busting through here to kill us all. But AHA! That's when we fool them. Grandfather may be smart enough to be sneaky and try to catch us by surprise but we have the upper hand here. " Jai smiled from ear to ear wickedly while everybody looked at him like he had gone mad.
Finally, Noah spoke up and looked at his younger brother with a slightly raised eyebrow. His face showed little recognition as to what exactly his brother was talking about.
" What's your plan. You know I have to evaluate it because I know that it's not full-proof. " Noah doubted as he took a seat at the table, leaning over to rest his head in his hands.
Jai took off his leather jacket, tossing it somewhere in the giant room as he cracked his knuckles while a certain look of mischief seemed to grow on his face. I took this as my opportunity to slowly bust my way through and somehow get some information.
" What exactly is going on? " I asked quietly as I approach the table with my hands stuffed shyly in my pockets. I glanced at Noah to catch him doing the same. The question was directed towards both of them but with the looks of things, Jai will be the designated information giver.
" Well, let me tell you all about how it started. " Jai smiled charmingly as he gently took my hand and guided me to his chair. Once I was seated, he cleared his throat sillily. I cracked a smile and shook my head.
" So once upon a time, and yada, yada, yada; Our beautiful mother was born, born into a world of only chaos, death, crime, and bloodshed. " Jai started off, glancing every now and then at Noah.
" Our mother was gorgeous, grayish green eyes, with lovely, vivid black curly hair. Her father, which is our grandfather, was the biggest mob leader of them all back his day. His father and his father's father had built an empire that was known almost world wide for their drug trading and illegal heavy artillery. " Jai paused, " And may I mention that it was bad luck to have female offspring, and lord was our grandfather a wretched evil merciless man".
