𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬

She cocked her gun while in position on the roof. Aiming her sight on her target, and with a steady hand she makes the perfect shot. With no hesitation.

Completing her job she makes her way off the roof and out of the building onto the streets of the city.

Katara is suddenly startled by a voice in her earpiece, "well done Kat, mission completed. And just so you know you were paid handsomely.", said her best friend Toph with a bit of smirk in her voice.

"Awesome! I'll be sure to give you your cut later my genius of a hacker." she replied.

"Alright i'll catch you later Kat, call me when you get home."

"Will do.".

As she disconnected from Toph Katara decided to take a short cut down an alley. But as she kept walking she could hear faint screams and thuds.

Approaching more slowly she could make out dark figures surrounding a dark figure on the ground.

One of the dark figures then stated, " I can be here all day, GIVE ME MY DAMN MONEY."

She assumed that was either the leader or the boss of the group.

While she kept creeping closer she accidentally stepped on some random alley trash that sounded a loud crunch. This caught the attention of the mysterious group.

"Uh oh boss. Seems that we have a witness."

The leader of the group then turned around with a gun in hand and pointed it directly at Katara.

But to his surprise Katara also pulled a gun on him.

𝐀𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐎𝐕

Well shit i wasn't expecting that.

This action shocked Aang. He was not expecting her to be armed as well let alone have the audacity to point her firearm at him.

"Ok Dolly why don't you put the gun down and we can settle this ~peacefully."

Katara then replied "Ummm how about no." and took off as fast as she could.

"Boss the witness is getting away! Should we chase after her?"

"No, that won't be necessary." said Aang with a slight grin.

He was intrigued by the young lady and assumed that they would most likely cross paths again.

Since there were no more distractions, Aang turned back to the man his group was previously beating to a pulp.

"You obviously have no remorse and respect for me. So therefore you don't deserve to live." Aang spat.

And with the quickness of the wind Aang quickly shot the helpless man.

𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚'𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞♡

After speeding off from the scene she witnessed and partook earlier Katara arrived safely back home. A small studio apartment she shared with her roommate Suki.

While putting on her comfy clothes and tying her hair into a messy bun she couldn't help but think back on that stranger from earlier. If she was being honest she hadn't felt a rush like that in a while.

Snapping herself out of her thoughts as to not wonder on it too much she checked her phone to see a few texts from Toph.
