Lauren grew up with her two favorite boys. Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes. The trio did everything together and they've known eachother since elementary school and grew up together. Lauren and her boys all wanted the same thing...To serve their country. All three of them had those dreams, but Bucky was the only one with success. No one wanted to see a woman serve, and no one wanted a small man as a soldier. Bucky was large and muscular, so he had an advantage. After time, Lauren and Steve both made it into the army, but it was still difficult. Lauren was doubted and judged because of being a woman and Steve was doubted and judged because of his build. Lauren and Bucky both got captured by Zola, and Lauren was one of the injured, so Steve refused to allow her to come along on his journey. Bucky passed away and Steve was lost. Lauren was all alone in her mourning. She ended up spending a lot of time with Peggy and Howard, and they became close friends. Howard and Lauren were searching for Steve, when Lauren was captured and experimented on by Hydra. She was experimented on for about 50 years.
Eventually, she escaped and has lived in hiding. She has lived a pretty normal life. Kept in contact with Peggy, found a nice job at the Corner Cafe and overall is starting to heal. It was hard on everyone when Steve and Bucky died, but Lauren has learned to control her emotions and eventually start moving on.
