(A/N This is an alternate universe of MHA where the school provides the students' dormitories before the Hideout Raid. This will take place in the same universe as Legacy of a Fallen Hero. It focuses on Ryuhei and Setsuna but will also feature the other 4..)

"Tokage, would you like to go on a date with me?"

Standing motionless on a green hilltop at midnight, I stood frozen in awe. Did he break up with Ibara so that he could be with me? Did they both do this for me? Is that really true? It never occurred to me what they had to endure for my sake. My eyes welled up with tears as I felt him embrace me.

"Setsuna, I'm sorry for shocking you this way. But this is the truth, and I hope that you'll forgive me."

At that moment, I was overcome with emotion. My hug with him ended and I walked away. Although I could tell he wanted to follow me, I needed some space to deal with all of this.

My head was hunched over the foot of my bed as I sat there in my room.

"Ughh, Present Mic really had to lay that 10-page essay on us, huh? Why can't it be shorter? This sucks-"

The phone rang with a message from Shiozaki-san. I grabbed my phone, which sat on the bedside desk right beside all my textbooks and essays and got up. Shiozaki's message read:

Greetings, Tokage-san. I hope you and the rest of the class are doing great back at U.A. My hero studies at Woods Hero Agency have proved beneficial and have provided me with more information about becoming a pro hero. I even met this amazingly divine boy named Inari-san who is interning alongside me!

Curiosity tingled in my mind. Inari-san? That's a name I've never heard before. A second text from Ibara follows:

I would love for you and the others to come to meet him in person. He is truly divine and even my saviour.

In response, I frantically texted back:

What are you talking about? Saviour?

Ibara responded with some defence in her words:

He is nothing to worry about, I assure you. In Osaka, we were involved in a bank robbery earlier this week. During the robbery, there was a Nomu present.

Tetsutetsu and I were watching TV and eating breakfast when we heard the news about the bank robbery. Ibara replies once more.

I was cornered by the Nomu at one point. He did not seem to be hindered by my vines in the slightest. Just as I lost all hope, Shizuko-san emerged from the second floor and dropkicked the Nomu into a corner. He helped me up as we got behind the lobby desk...

~Flashback~

Inarizaki-san glanced at me "Ibara-chan, you can't defeat that monster. All Might fought it during the USJ incident. If he struggled to deal with the Nomu, you can't defeat it either."

What was he thinking? Is Inarizaki-san not in his right state of mind? In any case, I objected to his plan. "If we don't stop it, it could escape into the streets!"

Inarizaki-san looked over the desk at the Nomu, who was already out in the streets now as it makes that incessant screaming noise once again "Get the pros here, I need to distract it so it doesn't attack civilians."

It only made me even angrier at him, "You can't fight that thing and win Inari- No, I mean Ryu! Just as you said, All Might was unable to defeat it! If he can't, how are you going to beat it?"

Inari-san stood up and glared at the Nomu "I don't have to win, just buy time." He glanced at me and smiled "Besides, this may be fun. Heroes don't fear villains stronger than them! If someone needs to distract that thing, better for me to fill that role than you!"

Inari-san leapt over the counter and charged at the monster, grabbing its back and crashing it into a wall. His actions at that moment almost seemed...virtuous, like that of a saint. I felt as if my heart had stopped for a moment.

A hero's first priority must be to stop the villain. I sprinted up the stairs to the roof and ran over to the railing facing the building. It appeared he was quite beat up when I got there, but I had to stay focused. I closed my eyes and begged for the gods to give me the strength to defeat this foe. As I screamed "Via Dolorosa!" the vines from my hair shot down the building at insane speeds wrapping around the Nomu's arms and legs, ensnaring the beast. Seeing this moment, Inari-san disappears for a moment before reappearing on the Nomu's back and proceeding to rip out the Nomu's brain off, which disabled the monster. Before I came down from the roof, I saw Kamui Woods take responsibility for Inari-san's method of defeating the Nomu as authorities rushed towards the scene.

~End of Flashback~

My mind was blown at that point. A 1-A student taking out a Nomu? That's unheard of! But as Tetsutetsu once blurted out while we were coincidentally eating at the same table and watching news of the USJ Incident unfold "that class is just built different" Anyway, I wrote back to Ibara:

"Damn, he sounds like a really cool dude."

Ibara simply replied with:

"Yes, so I wanted to know if you and some of the girls would be free on Sunday. I am hoping to spend time with him by visiting a bakery in Esuha City, which he told me would have interesting products like Spanish bread, garlic bread, and hot dog buns. If you all would want, I could take you guys there for a bite and introduce him."

My response to Ibara's text was merely a thumbs up. I then placed my phone in my pocket and left my dorm.

(A/N: I'll leave this here for now but I'll just try and juggle 4 books at once, not like that's gonna make me COMPLETELY stressed! :D Anyway, I hope you enjoyed that pathetic attempt at building a romance novel)

(EDIT: I have changed some of the words and sentences in order to improve my writing skills, as well as better, confer my story.)
