Day 22: Decorating the Clubhouse

        I woke up this morning ready to decorate the new room. I got ready for the day and gave Faye her task. "Hey take Ben and go to the store and get all of this," I said handing her a long list and my credit card. "Why Ben, I don't wanna go, You do it," she said. "No I am staying here and getting started. And Ben is more feminine than Jake and Collin I guess, he can help you pick cool stuff.," I told her. She groaned and agreed to my request. She left and I got started with my task.  I had to get a ladder up the already existing ladder and into the clubhouse. I had to have away to reach the ceiling up there, so I had to use a ladder That was interesting. I fell, multiple times, until finally succeeding. I put the ladder up and began hanging the LED lights I bought yesterday. I criss-crossed them and covered the whole ceiling in them and turned them on. It was exactly what I was going for, it was beautiful and cool! Just as I sat down admiring my work, Faye called me. "Darcy what the hell, this is a lot of stuff how do you expect me to get it all?" she asked annoyed. "Well didn't you take the bus. You didn't did you? You dumb ass you should have read the list and known you would need a lot of room," I told her. "Ugh ill take care of it, damn it Darcy," she said hanging up on me. Half an hour later, Faye came in with the first load of things from my list. A large TV and a lot of shelves, we hauled everything up there and she left again. I began nailing the shelves up, putting them between the quotes on the walls so nothing was covered. Once I got them up, and put the TV where I wanted it, I began putting things on the shelves. I read a lot of books when I lived at home and I brought most of them with me to the new house. So I put them all up there to make it look nice. In addition to the books, I put some knickknacks and book ends on the shelves. The knickknacks were in the boxes that e took out of the attic and I thought we should make use of them. Faye arrived with the second and last load of things on my list. When everything was brought upstairs, Faye and the boys tried to help me put it all into place. I ended up kicking them out because I ad a vision and they were messing it up. I made them go down stairs and pulled the ladder up and shut myself in. I got a PS4 and an X-box one to put up there. I also got a ton of bean bag chairs and a hammock that I hung in the corner. I also got a cool rug and a huge colorful lamp, and a few egg shaped chairs. After I got it all done, I tried to go down stairs. And by tried I mean that the door doesn't open to the inside. "Faye, I locked myself in the damn attic," I said into my cell phone. "Please tell me your kidding, because I am not home," she said. "What do you mean you are not here, where are you," I asked annoyed. "Well me and the boys went to dinner we are an hour away, and we just got here," she explained. "Well get back here and help me," I yelled at her. "Well ya see, I'm hungry," she said. I began to yell at her. "Oh sorry Darcy your breaking up I gotta go be home in to hours bye," she laughed into the phone. Yes I did indeed sit in the club house for over two hours with no way out. I ust played video games the whole time. So here I am in bed. I decorated and got locked in a club house today. That was a blast. 21 down 343 days to go. Goodnight.
