All turned their head to see Mohan and Ranveer.
Everyone's eyes widened in shock.
Ranveer's pov
Maa told that they all want to attend a marriage. So Me and Mohan accompanied them as we didn't have any specific work.
Ranveer : I will driv.... (Mobile ringing sound).. One minute
He attended the call.
Ranveer : Hello......Okay. ... I will bring the file immediately
Mohan : Kya hua jiju
Ranveer: Nothing serious Mohan. I have some work in office. I want to take the file to office immediately.
Shanti: Okay beta you carry on with your work. We will go with Mohan
Mohan : Haa... Maa... Haa I also have some work.
Meena (glared) : Suddenly from where this work come from?
Mohan: Ha.. Now only I checked my mobile. Manager send a message that I have some work in restaurant. You guys carry on your function. Drive will drop you all.
Meena glared at him for his lie.
Shanti: Leave him meena. This guy is like this only. Come we will leave.
They went with the driver.
Ranveer: Why didn't you join them Mohan?
Mohan : Jiju you know naa... I can't handle this ladies all alone. They will definitely go to mall to buy gifts. They will not only buy gifts they will start their shopping also. I don't have that much patience to be alone with them.
Ranveer (laughed): I will accept that. Chal come to office with me then.
Mohan nodded and both turned to Malhotra mansion to take the file.
Mohan see Anjali and Arjun fighting in the terrace bridge
Mohan: Jiju see there.
Ranveer: Aren't they Anjali And Arjun?
Mohan : Haa jiju. Seems like they are fighting.
Ranveer : Haa. Come we will see.
They both reached terrace only to see knife in Anjali's hand and Arjun is struggling to remove it.
End of Ranveer's pov
Ranveer: Then who deserves her Mr.Dhawan
All are shocked seeing them.
Anjali ran and hugged Ranveer : Papa
Ranveer: Shh... Don't cry princess
Anjali: I a..m sor..ry so.r.ry.
Ranveer cupped her face : Shh why are you saying sorry? Loving someone is not a crime.
Mohan caressed her hair : Don't cry baby. It's time to make him cry not you to cry.
Arjun: Appa
Mohan : Don't..
Ranveer : Mohan don't get angry on him. Let us hear him first. Then we will speak.
Before that everyone go and wash your face and freshen up. We will talk in lunch when everyone is present.
He left from there with Mohan. He didn't left the matter in middle. He just want everyone to be present when they are discussing this problem. He was even angry with Arjun. But he also want to listen his side story.
Manik took Anjali with him. Arjun also left to his room.
Arjun's room
Arjun was sitting in the bed. He was just staring the wall before him and lost in his thoughts.
His thoughts were broken by a knock. He turned to see Nandhini and Navya standing there.
Arjun: Why are you standing there itself? Come inside.
He stand up but Nandhini made him sit on the bed and sit beside him.
Navya handed the First Aid Box to her.
Arjun: Nandu it's not..
She just glared him. He zipped his mouth.
Nandhini while dressing his wound: You know what anna I know the story of a Man. He was the one who was always being there for his family. He was the one who made his family proud by becoming a first Young IPS officer of their Nation. He was the one who never neglects his duty for anything. He was the one who is also available for his family whenever they want him. He was the one who can go to any extend to save the innocent people. He was the one who won the Best IPS Officer award for the last three years continuously. He was one of the best brother one would get and he will be the one who will be also a best and perfect husband anyone will get. But he is the one who thinks low of himself and he is the one who feels inferior about himself. Do you know who he is?
Voice : None othere than your mahan brother.
Nandhini glared at him for teasing her anna. Manik chuckled standing near the door.
Manik along with Anjali entered the room. Arjun stand up immediately.
Manik along with Arjun settled in the sofa. Manik is sitting between Anjali and Arjun. Nandhini and Navya are sitting on the bed facing them.
Manik: You know what Arjun. When I first heard about this. I felt like killing you.
Anjali smacked his arm : Bhaiii
Manik (Chuckled) : Arey seriously I am just saying the truth. Then only Nandhini made me understand. Then I started to observe you. I observed everything you did. Even in your workplace how you speak, how you behave, how you tried to avoid Anjali and how you care for others. Everything I observed.
Everyone was shocked and stare him with wide eyes.
Manik: What? Why are you guys looking like this? It's common na. I want to be sure na my baby will be happy with him. Don't look at me like that Arjun. I also know that you did research on me by your influence before Nandu's marriage.
Nandini being shocked: Annaa
Arjun : Haa.. Haa.. I did. So what
Manik (Smiled) : Cool Arjun. I understand you.
Arjun also smiled.
Manik: I am damn sure no one will take care of my sister like you do.Then why are you feeling that you didn't deserve her.
Arjun took a deep breath: I am not a person with words. I am not that much of an expressive person. I am a workalcoholic person. I am not any prince Charming who every princess deserve. I didn't even know how to speak with a girl. When I came to Mumbai, I saw everyone pampering Anjali. All are treating her like a princess and a doll made of glass. I thought I am not enough to take care of her and pamper her you all are doing. I always admire you guys pampering the girls. So I think Anjali deserves a prince Charming who is soft and sweet and will pamper her and take care of her like a princess.Not the one like me who is hard and less expressive.
He stopped hearing Anjali's laughter.
Manik : why are you laughing?
Anjali: Seriously you are thinking like this.
Nandhini: Ha Anna seriously I can't able to believe. Anjali you make him understand. cholo manik we will leave.
Manik: Arey...
Nandhini : Chalooo
Nandhini dragged Manik with her. Then navya also left with them leaving Anjali and Arjun.
Anjali was smirking😏. Arjun nervously looked her.
