Nandhini's pov
I raised my head only to see Manik's red eyes.
He slightly moved me aside and marched towards door.
Noo.... I want to stop him.
I ran and stand in front of him.
Manik: Nandhini please move aside.
Nandhini: Manik please listen to me. Please control your anger. Think and react.
Manik closed his eyes to control his anger. Nandhini hugged him tightly.
As always his angry was melted in her arms.
Manik: I don't know what to do nandhini. My baby is in pain but I can't able to do anything. If I do anything wrong then it will spoil her life.
Nandhini: Go with the flow of your heart manik. Talk with her. She don't hide anything from you.
Manik: Will she tell me everything herself ?
Anjali with teary eyes stands at the door: Definitely bhai.
Anjali just ran and crashed in his arms. Nandhini smiled with her tears seeing them. Nandhini started to move towards door to give them some alone time but one hand caught her left hand.
She turned to see Anjali's right hand. She being in his arms hold nandhini's hand and nodded her head in no. Anjali seems to be a complete crying mess.
Nandhini nodded her head in no and went near her. She cleaned her face with her saree pallu.
Nandhini: Shh.. Don't cry baby.
Nandhini made her sit in the bed and sat beside her. Manik occupied the other side.
Anjali leaned on nandhini's shoulder. Manik hold her hands in his.
Anjali: You know what bhai when I saw him first he was in his uniform. He came to drop bhabhi in college
I just saw you in him. A hard workaholic person but also a protective brother. When mohan mamu told his story to maa I saw him consoling bhabhi and maami. That day I saw his caring side. All girls like to have life partner like their father but more than papa I always admire you bhai. I saw you in him bhai. (Manik was creasing her hair. ) This may be the reason why I fall for him this much. But I don't know when I started loving him. His ignorance just stimulate me to love him more. I can't live without him Bhai.
Manik with stern face: What if I don't like him for you?
Nandhini and Anjali both turned their head in his direction
Anjali saw his stern face. She rubbed her tears.
Anjali : I will not go behind him and confess my feelings to him but at the same time I will not marry anyone. I will live as your princess lifelong in this house itself.
Manik: Why don't you fight with me for your love?
Anjali chuckled sadly: Already I am hurting Arjun in the name of love. I don't want to hurt you also bhai. I can't give his place to others but I will live as your princess here life long.
Nandhini didn't interfere in their talk as it's brother and sister conversation. She is silently observing Manik's face.
Manik smiled with tears. He just took her in hug : If I will be giving your hands to someone then definitely it will be Arjun.
Anjali tighten the hug around him and tears are coming ceaselessly from her eyes. Nandhini smiled with tears.
Anjali weeping badly: Tha....nk yo...u bh...ai.
Manik: Bacha don't cry. It will affect your health. See me
Manik made her to face him and nandhini cleaned her face. He cupped her face.
Manik: Tell me why he is ignoring you.
Anjali: That what I don't know bhai.
Nandhini: Even he didn't love anyone before. Navya bhabhi also said she saw him looking lost always. I told abhi to talk with bhai. Bhai didn't hide anything from abhi.
At that time nandhini's mobile rang.
Nandhini: Haa abhi sollu (say)....... Sari(okay)...... I will definitely tell you tomorrow...... Haa krishna promise....... OK bye.
She cut the call.
Nandhini: He sent the recording which he recorded without bhai's notice while talking. Wait a minute I will play it.
Recordings.... (He just started recording when he ask the question nandhini told him to ask)
Abhi: Did you love someone?
Arjun: That doesn't matter.
Abhi : Ithukku enna artham ( What does that mean? )
Arjun: Naa oru ponna love pannen but naa avalukku thaguthiye illa. Na ennoda thaguthiku meeri aasa pattuten. Naa kudumbathukula kulapatha erpadutha virumbala. I am a mere Police but she is.....Leave it. ( I loved a girl but I didn't deserve her. I loved a girl more than i deserve. I don't want to bring conflicts between family. )
(I also want to say this to readers. I just mentioned mere police to explain his thought. I really respect every occupation. Don't mistake me. )

Nandhini: Soo he is thinking that he doesn't deserve Anjali.
Manik: Seriously your brother is thinking like that nandhini. He is the best IPS officer in Tamil Nadu and also won the title BEST IPS for lost three years. Now he is also continuing his service here also. His dedication towards work, his care towards his loved ones. What more your brother wants in him to deserve my princess?
Nandhini: Are you praising him or scolding him?
Manik just shrugged his shoulder.
Anjali and nandhini nodded their head in disbelief.
Nandhini: Leave him. We will teach bhai a lesson to make my baby cry.
Anjali hugged nandhini by her neck.
Then the three went down to have dinner. After finished all the work nandhini went to room only to see manik staring stars outside the window.
Nandhini went and stand beside him.
Nandhini: Don't worry manik Anjali will be happy with him.
Manik took her front and hugged her: I trust him Nandhini.
Nandhini's lips curved upwards.
