Manik's pov
Today I was very busy, back to back meetings. Even I attended a lunch meeting. Actually I hate lunch meeting,as there was a rule in family that all men should be in home for lunch and dinner. In breakfast we didn't gather as everyone wake up in different time. Today I didn't even had time to call Nandhini.
When I returned home, home was not like other days. Whenever I returned home I was welcomed by the giggles of ladies either in Dhawan Mansion or Malhotra Mansion. But I chuckled my thoughts and entered my room. I saw Nandhini sitting in bed with the book in hand. I think she is tired.
I asked her to change and take rest. When she placed here leg in floor, she fall in my arms. Then only I saw her foot neglecting her tries to hide it.
Oh my god.. Her leg was badly burnt.
Tears formed in my eyes.
End of Manik's pov
Manik (in broken voice): ho.. how this happend?
Nandhini: Manik it's not at all paining more. Leave it na.
Manik angrily get up from bed: Damn it. Your leg is burnt badly. You are telling me to leave it.
Nandhini: Manik calm down na... It will be alright soon.
Manik was pacing in the room here and there.
Nandhini tried to place her leg down. Seeing her Manik rushed towards her.
Manik: What are doing Nandhini? It will hurt more.
Nandhini: Manik see my eyes.
She raised his chin to look his eyes. Tears are ready to fall. His eyes were red shot.
Manik took Nandhini in bone crushing hug: You know na.... I can't able to see you hurt. But you always put yourself in danger. Why can't you be careful once?
Nandhini felt wet on her shoulder.
Nandhini: Manik see me... I am alright. Nothing happened. This wound will heal soon.
Manik carefully touched her leg: It's not paining na...
Nandhini pecked his nose: No
Manik hugged her: Don't scare me like this. I can't even bear a single scratch on you. And from today onwards you are not entering the kitchen.
Nandhini: Manik it's not fair.
Manik: No way. I am not going to listen anything.
Nandhini sighed. She know if she speaks anything now it will definitely leads to fight. She decided to argue after the wound was healed.
Then Manik asked the butler to bring dinner. He feeds Nandhini. Then he also finished his dinner. Then both drifted into sleep cuddling to each other.
Next morning Manik decided to take leave. But he has an important meeting.
He decided to cancel that meeting. But Nandhini come to know about that when Manik was taking in mobile.
So she compelled him to go to that meeting. After a great struggle as always Nandhini won.
After warning Nandhini not to come out bed, Manik went to office. But he asked Navya to be with Nandhini till he come home. As today vividha and Anjali both went to college.
Navya happily agreed. Navya and Nandhini become best friends in short period. They always shares everything with each other.
After lunch they both are generally taking.
