It's always her...

From the moment i laid my eyes on her...

I knew she is the one...

The person that i would want to spent my whole life with...

Falling in love is very real, but I used to shake my head when people talked about soul mates, poor deluded individuals grasping at some supernatural ideal not intended for mortals but sounded pretty in a poetry book.

Then, we met, and everything changed, the cynic has become the converted, the sceptic, an ardent zealot.

I still remember vividly...

Her shiny eyes that shines the most when she look at something she love...herdimples that shows up every time she smile...her smile that can make my day... the way she brushesher hair away from her shoulder making her hair flow down beautifully.Everything about her is perfect...she is my everything...my girlfriend...my world...

Never a single day, we were separated from each other.

We were each other pillar of strength...

It all started when we met in the police academy. When we were still teens fighting for a place in the police academy to serve for our country.

- FLASHBACK -

The sound of people marching in sync and people running around to do their duties could be seen as soon as you enter the academy.

With the duffel bag on your shoulder, you held it tighter and continued walking looking around amazed at everything.

That's when you really decided that you have to get in no matter what.

Feeling the boost of energy, you let out a courageous smile before stepping your foot inside the academy.

A young man with decent features on his face came and looked around the place curiously too. A hand in his pocket and the other holding onto his duffel bag. His expression remain the same...Not amused nor excited. Just calm with a poker face.

Seeing other people starting to make their way towards the door of the academy, he walked calmly to the door maintaining the poker face.

The place was crowded, fill with new recruits from different status. All of them are here to pass one test...

The test that can determined if they are able to become a police officer.

The young man looked right and left before opening up the letter he brought along.

' Group Phoenix '

The young man chuckled slightly and shook his head as he began looking around to search for his group name.

Seeing the big sign down to his left, he make his way to that area.

A group of people his age were lining up and talking to each other. Probably trying to make new friends but of course he didn't came for this.

He stood behind the last line and put his bad in between his legs before proceeding to mind his own business.

What it feels like forever, the chief walked in and everyone started to remain silent and stand upright.

The chief looked around and gave a warm smile as he stood in front of the stage with the mic on his hand.

" To all the new recruits, i would like to thank you for choosing this pathway as your future...i hope you won't regret your decision and keep fighting till the end...Always remember, no matter where you are or where you work...in this field, you can never work alone. Trust your team mates...As for now, all the seniors of each team, please take attendance. Thank you..." The chief gave his speech and walked down the stage as everyone started to salute.
