JEREMY and CHRISTINE's PoV
"You can do this Jeremy!"
"No I CAN'T!" Jeremy threw up his hands.
He was sitting in the back of the drama room with his ex-girlfriend and friend Christine Canigula.
Christine frowned. "What do you mean you can't do this? You CAN AND YOU WILL, SO HELP ME." She stood up and started pacing around the room as if she was going to recite a monologue. "You CAN, you have the potential for this. I know you do." She turned back to Jeremy and shook his shoulders, or at least shook his elbows considering their height difference.
"Just ask him out."
"But-" Jeremy sputtered, waving his arms around like the awkward noodle he is. Christine sighed dramatically.
Since their breakup, Jeremy had realized he was a flaming bisexual (though maybe not as flaming as Rich) and liked Michael. However, he was really shy about it and refused to confess his feelings in any way. Christine had gotten him to write a letter but he flushed it down the toilet. Trying to wingwoman someone as disastrous as Jeremy Heere wasn't that easy.
"But what if he's not into me or something! Maybe he's decided he's actually straight! MaYBE-" He trailed off as Rich and Jake walked into the drama room.
"Hey tall ath, what'th got you tho fruthtrated?" Rich said, sitting down next to Jeremy. Christine leaned over to Rich. "Michael," she whispered conspiratorially. Rich nodded as if he already knew that.
(Let's face it, he definitely did.)
"Well Jeremy, I have some advice for you." Jake chimed in.
Rich grinned. "Is it to tell him that hE-" Christine kicked him in the shin. "Keep it PG!" She turned to look at Jeremy, who was fiddling with his cardigan. "That goes for you too. No funny business." At this, Jeremy went bright red. "But seriously, just ask him!" Jake said.
Jeremy sighed. He knew his friends would keep pestering him about this and Brooke and Chloe would talk about it even more at lunch if he didn't get his crap together.
"Fine. I'll do it."

Jeremy sat on the edge of his bed, clutching his phone.
I'm actually going to do this. What the feck.
He took a shaky breath and opened up the Messages app to his conversation with Michael. Five out of twelve years of friendship contained in these messages. Twelve years of friendship down the drain if Christine's plan didn't work.
Ok, stop. It's not the end of the world! You have other friends. Wait no that sounds like I'm saying Michael isn't important tHAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT OH MY GOD-
