When your eyes slowly opened you lazily took in your surroundings, not all to focused on it you rolled over and hugged the blanket closer to you. It only hit you put the blanket to your face, the scent of it being all too familiar.
You sat up quickly and looked around you, now fully awake. You looked around the room, some posters on the wall, organized beyond belief. Your eyes shot down to the floor, there was a blanket and a pillow next to the bed you were sleeping in.
" oh my god" you whispered and slid the blanket off yourself and stepped down off the bed. You looked down at yourself and blushed when you realized you were wearing his hoodie. You tip toed around the room and found your phone on his desk.
You stopped to admire the little trinkets on his desk, smiling a bit at the picture of you and him that he tried to hide behind his computer monitor. You ran your fingers over it and then over his desk. " Can't handle even the slightest mess can you Kat" you said giggling a bit.
The morning sun shined through his curtains as you looked around his room, you hadn't been in his room in what felt like forever, he always said it was a mess and he didn't want to be bothered to clean it.
Liar, you didn't want me to the photo of us.
When you checked your phone it said it was 7:02am which meant he was out for his morning run, you decided to head back home and try and get ready for school and leave before your mother woke up.
As you walked down the stairs, you tried to be quiet to not disturb his parents, as you slid your shoes on you heard a voice come from the living room.
" He's on a run honey" A soft voice said, as she stood up from the couch she turned around to look at you, smiling as she held a mug in her hand, her bright red eyes looking at you. " Come here for a minute" she said and gestured for you to come over, you slowly walked over and played with the sleeves of his hoodie as you stood in front of her.
Mistuki Bakugo was the nicest women you had ever met, growing up she would always take care of you when your mom was working, always telling Katsuki to be nice and gentle with you ( which he ignored ). As you got older and got closer to Katsuki she would always make little side comments about how cute you guys were, how cute the fighting was and how she could never take it seriously.
" I'm really sorry Mistuki, I don't even remember-" she cut you off by placing a hand on you shoulder and smiling " I know- you were asleep when he carried you in here last night, mumbled to me not to say anything and to leave it alone" she said and sighed happily, sitting back down on the couch and bringing the mug to her lips.
You didn't remember the rest of the night, you remember crying in his arms and then he wouldn't let go and said he was going to carry you because it was ' too cold'. You must've fallen asleep on the way.
You smiled at her , she was too nice for her own good " Still- I am sorry, did he say anything else?" you asked, a hint of curiosity in your tone, you have never known him to be gentle, so the thought of him carrying you inside and into his bed was a thought you really wanted to remember.
" He said something about regretting not asking if you were okay sooner" she said and you clenched your fist a bit, he didn't have to ask, you would never burden him with your problems.
" It's okay honey, you both care so much about each other, I think it's about time if im being honest" She said and you nervously laughed, not really understanding what she meant.
I mean you had to be a bit curious about what the kiss meant for your relationship with him now but I guess it never settled in yet. You looked at the wall clock they had and realized you had about half an hour until you had to leave for school, a part of you wanted to wait for Bakugo to get back.
