" Outrider Amber! "
I turned around to see Huffman, shouting and running towards me. I raised a brow, wondering why the knight was rushing. I watched the knight pant before looking at me.
" Outrider Amber! An incident has occured near the bridge, at the bank of cider lake! " he informed me as he quickly gestured to go to the mondstadt gates.
Though i was on planning on taking out the nearby hilichurl camps , i decided to inspect the situation and attempt to resolve it first;To lighten the load Jean has. As we reached the mondstadt gates, i stared at the crowd gathering near the bank. I tried to squeeze through the crowd of whispers, to see what had drawn the people of mondstadt's attention. I hope it isn't something that will cause harm to mondstadt!
My eyes widen as i caught a glimpse of a person, laying motionless on the ground. The other knights of favonious were discussing about how to deal with them. Their body let of a faint glow, a golden ray. I observed the many cuts on their body as well as the ragged clothing they wore on their scrawny body. Instead of the crimson red liquid a regular person will bleed, bright yellow was leaking through the scratches.
I quickly ran up to the person and carried them in my arms. Luckily, they were light enough. I turned towards the other knights at the scene before i assured them.
" Don't worry everyone! I'll be taking over from here, "I assured the other knights before rushing to the mondstadts' cathedral.
Upon arrival, i quickly ask one of the nuns to meet Barbara. When Barbara arrived, I rushed towards her and asked her whether she could heal the injured person in my arms. Barbara took a closer look at their wounds. She hovering her hand just above the wound-- as expected of Barbara--i cracked a smile as i watched the wounds slowly heal.
"There, that should do it. Make sure they get enough rest, Outrider, " Barbara told me, smiling like the idol she is.
"Thanks barbara! " I exclaimed as i laid the unconscious person on a bench.
" May i ask what you'll be doing next with them? " Barbara glanced at the person,who was grinding their teeth.
" It seems to be that their having a bad dream... " She stated, her voice lowering in tone.
"Yeah... I'm thinking of bring them back to the headquarters to rest, I need to ask them a few questions, " I told Barbara, as i watched the person's expression soften.
After exiting the cathedral,i quickly made my way to the knights of favonious headquarters. Once I reached The headquarters , i laid the person on the guest bed in a vacant bedroom on the 2nd flour. I closed the door of the bedroom and quickly went to do my patrol. I really hope they wake up soon!
