The next day at the hospital:

Jeongin finally woke up, with a stinging pain in his chest. He looked around at his surroundings and realized he was in a hospital room. He couldn't really remember last night, as it was in vivid fragments he couldn't recall. "Nurse..?" He called out, desperate for answers.

The nurse heard Jeongin calling and headed into the room, standing beside his bed. "Is everything alright with you sir?" She asked.

"Hmm yes, but do you know anything about my condition or how I got here?" He asked.

"You should be fine, you got some bruises from the crash. Ah yeah, a young man accidentally crashed into you the night before, he called 119 and we rushed you in here. Why? Are you feeling anything abnormal other than pains in the rib area which is expected due to the crash?" The nurse got ready to note anything down.

"I.. I don't remember anything actually." He itches his head, thinking of a brilliant idea.

"Anything after the crash? I wouldn't expect you to. Not only because of the hard hit, but also because the doctors had found high amounts of alcohol in your system," The nurse paused. "But it should be back to normal after your hangover."

"I actually don't remember anything before.. however I got here neither. It almost feels like these are my first moments alive.. I don't know." Jeongin says.

"Hm, that's quite a problem. Do you remember how to move your legs to walk? If you don't feel any pain how about you stand up and try walking. Do you remember how to read?" The nurse asked many questions at once.

He nodded and stood up on his feet, then slowly started walking.

"So you remember how to walk, hm, this is confusing. You get back in your bed sir, I'm going to call a doctor." The nurse helped Jeongin into his bed, before leaving the room to call for help.

Jeongin thanked the nurse and fumbled with his fingers nervously on the bed.

After a moment, two doctors came in, one was pushing a tray in front of him. "Hello, Jeongin is it? We're just going to do some checkups and ask you a few questions relating to the symptoms you reported to the nurse. First, can you follow this pen with your eyes without moving your head? It'll tell me if you have any sign of a concussion." The doctor walked up to the  hospital bed.

"Okay." He did as the doctor did, and succeeded.

"Alright you seem fine in that area. Now, can you explain to me exactly what you're feeling, the nurse already told me you can't remember anything before the crash. I'm expecting you to remember personal things like your name, birthday, maybe a few important people to you? Do you remember any of those?" The doctor questioned, preparing the clipboard in his hand.

"Yes I mean, I remember my name, birthday and family members." Jeongin replied.

"Alright, do you remember anything else... like any important phone numbers, or maybe your address? Don't worry if you don't, we found your credentials and will send you home when it's time for you to return." The doctor said.

"I think I remember my address..." Jeongin thought hard about it before relaxing and stopped straining his head.

"Don't force your thinking process a lot, you should get some rest in the meantime. I feel that a lot of questions might tire you out, so we'll pass this on to your personal doctor so you can schedule a formal appointment with him." the doctor explained.

"Alright." Jeongin complied, then laid down in his bed to try and get some rest.

Bangchan's POV:

This morning I took time to head to a flower and candy shop so I could send a gift to that guy so he wouldn't sue the heck out of me. I picked out a bouquet of different flower arrangements and like three chocolate boxes of different kinds since I didn't know anything about him, and asked the worker lady at the counter to wrap it up in a presentable bag.

After driving to the hospital he was supposed to be in, I stopped at the counter. "Hello, I'm here to give this gift to Jeongin, I don't know him so I can't go in but can you please send him this and say it was from 'Bangchan'?" I asked, placing the things on the desktop.

"Okay, but we've just got word that he's in a state of amnesia. So I'm not sure if he'll remember you or not, depending on if you've spent a lot of time together but." The person at the counter put the things in a tray.

Third person POV:

"Amnesia?!" Guilt rushed over Bangchan. "I'm so fucked." He said under his breath, thinking about the fact he could receive jail time. "Erm, just send the things to him and tell him I feel so terribly sorry." Bangchan urged.

"Alright, maybe you could maybe visit him someday as well?" The person suggested, then placing the tray on a cart.

"Yeah I'll make sure of it. But right now i'm sure the doctors won't let anyone but family in especially if he's in a serious state. I might as well give him some time to rest, it's the least I could do." Bangchan sighed.

The counter person nodded, and then went to push the cart elsewhere.

Last second Bangchan walked after the woman. "Hey, do you know what room he's in?" He asked suddenly.

"Mhm, I was just headed there. He's in room 202." She replied.

"Would you mind if I tag along? I might as well try and ask the people nursing him if he's doing better."

"Sure, I'm sure they wouldn't mind anyways." She smiled, and continued pushing the cart now until they reached the end of a hallway with a door that read "202."

Bangchan saw some doctors heading out of the room and stopped in front of them. "Hello, I'm Bangchan, the guy that ran over- I mean the guy who caused the accident with Joengin. Can you tell me how he's doing?" Bangchan bowed, asking nervously.

"He's doing better physically, but we are currently trying to figure out why he has amnesia. You are free to visit him though." One of them says.

Bangchan paused to think for a second before smiling at the doctor. "It'll be awkward but I might as well, thank you so much for the information" Chan bowed again.

"No problem." The doctor smiled at Bangchan and continued walking the way the others did.

Chan took a deep breath placing his hand on the door knob, once he built up the courage he turned the knob and pushed himself in, walking slowly towards Jeongins hospital bed, where he appeared to be sleeping. "Well this is awkward." Bangchan whispered to himself, and sat down on the visitor chair opposite of Jeongins bed, placing the gifts he got from the cart in the other chair beside him.
