About three minutes later Bangchan pulled up to the curb, stopping beside where Jeongin had been sitting down. He got out of the car, and helped the boy up. "Come on let's go for a short drive and we can talk before getting to my house." Chan said, opening the car door for Jeongin.
Jeongin gladly took a seat in the car and buckled himself in, then he wiped his tears and sniffled in an attempt to look less puffy and red. "I wasn't good enough for him, to the point where he had to cheat on me with my friend. He cheated on me because I got boring and because I didn't satisfy his sexual needs, I don't know why I'm so terrible." Jeongin bursted into tears again, wiping his tears with his sleeve.
"Jeongin you are far from terrible. He should know how to take no for an answer especially when it comes to serious things like sexual consent. This is none of your fault." Bangchan explained.
"I feel like everything was my fault, like it's my fault that I did something that made my friend want to make my boyfriend cheat on me. I'm so boring, and I guess I'm a bad boyfriend. I know, I'm trash but I really was trying!" The younger bit his lip in frustration and closed his eyes, while his vision was blurry from the tears.
"Just forget about him, he's the one who's a price of trash. I bet you're not the bad one, after all he's the one who cheated isn't he? That doesn't make him a good boyfriend." Bangchan said.
"I suppose but, it still really hurts. That was like the 15th time I caught him cheating and didn't realize I just became his toy after a while..." Jeongin calmed down a bit, and looked out the window.
"This is just awful of him on his part. He's probably going to do the same thing to those people. Some day he'll end up all alone and that's on him." Chan explained, pulling into his driveway.
"I can't even believe I lost a friend because of him..." Jeongin sighed, and put his hands into his pockets.
"It's both of their faults to be honest not just his. Your friend was the one who made that decision."
"Yeah I guess, but I hate putting the blame on people.. it even was hard to break up with him too even though I knew I had too, because at that point it was a one-sided love." Jeongin sniffled.
"Well, I hope you can feel relieved that you don't have to stress about him anymore, also not to mention you can use this to reflect on how you can look for people better than him." Bangchan walked out of the car, opening the other side for Jeongin.
Jeongin got out of the car and followed Chan to the door. "Can I call you.. Chan?" He asked, tugging on the olders sleeve.
"Sure, whatever works for you." Bangchan smiled, walking towards the door.
"Thanks so much, I don't know what I did to deserve someone like you." Jeongin smiled.
"Something told me you would like to meet me." Bangchan laughed, opening the door, and walking in. "Here you can use these guest slippers." He said.
"Thank you," Jeongin took his own shoes off, leaving them at the door then took the slippers. "Wow your baby pictures are so goddamn cute." Jeongin awed at the pictures on the wall.
"Thanks haha, I like keeping them, I have some of everyone in my family but my sibling would kill me if I were to show, so i'll refrain from doing so." Bangchan jokes. "Want a glass of juice or anything to eat?" He offered.
"No thanks, I'm fine with just talking to you." Jeongin smiled.
"Well I'm hungry as can be so I'll just grab some chips and place them in a bowl. You can grab some too if you change your mind." Bangchan did so, before sitting down on a couch in his living room. "Make yourself comfortable." He smiled.
Jeongin nodded, and sat down on the couch beside him. "So, what made you wanna help me?" He asked, curious as to why he deserved all of this help he's been getting.
"I don't really have a lot of friends since I just recently moved to this part of Seoul. I was managing my business from Australia but thought it would be better for the company if I was near the location." Bangchan explained. "You seemed like a pretty cool person so I guess that's all." He ate a chip.
"Ah okay, well I just noticed this but.... your dimple is very much, how do I explain this, it makes you adorable?" The younger smiled.
"Haha! My one dimple, I knew you would point it out eventually." Bangchan smiled.
"Oh you did? Well I like it, it suits you very much." Jeongin stared at it as he smiled.
"Thanks, it kind of sucks sometimes though because I would really have liked it if I had an identical one on the other side like most people with dimples do." Chan joked.
"It's alright, it makes you special then!" Jeongin exclaimed like a little child.
"You sure do know how to be happy in weird situations. At first when I met you at the hospital I didn't think someone could be so nice to the guy that ran them over." Bangchan laughed, eating some more of the chips.
"Oh is it bad that I'm being nice to you...?" Jeongin calmed himself down, not wanting to be too annoying.
"No, not at all, I'm just surprised you were willing to become my friend, not many people are willing. Want some chips? I hate eating in front of people, it makes me feel bad." Bangchan held up the bowl towards Jeongin.
"Alright then, but I guess every chance I could get to make a new friend! And you are very nice to me so, thanks." Jeongin took some chips from the bowl finally and started munching on them.
"No need to thank me, also want to know something? I've been thinking about this one thought from the first time I saw you." Bangchan said.
"Sure, what is it?" Jeongin swallowed his chips and looked at Chan.
"You remind me of a fox, I don't know, you just look like one. This isn't meant to be offensive by the way." Chan said.
"Aw really?" Jeongin smiled at him.
"Yep, I don't know why you just do." Bangchan smiled back.
"Maybe cause I'm cute ✨." Jeongin made a funny pose with his hands.
"I think that might also be the reason." Chan laughed. "You're pretty blunt, you know. Feels like I've known you for a year and not a week." He said.
"Mhm same, you're comforting to talk too. And you made me feel better about everything." Jeongin looked at Bangchan with friendly eyes.
"Oh that's great, i'm happy that i'm able to have that effect on you." Bangchan smiled.
"Of course, oh it's getting late. Should I go soon?" Jeongin looked at his phone.
"That's up to you, i'm cool with anything as long as it makes you feel comfortable." Chan answered.
"Really? Can I stay for the night if it doesn't bother you? I don't really feel like going back to my house right now, it's kind of empty now." Jeongin explained. "I promise I'll leave as soon as possible tomorrow." He stuck out his pinky finger and waited for Bangchan's reaction.
Bangchan put Jeongins finger back down. "You can leave whenever, I like having you here anyway." He smiled.
"Oh alright, if that's how you feel then. Sleepover it is!!" Jeongin smiled devilishly.
"Sleepover? I haven't had one of those in ages." Bangchan said.
"Well you have me here now to have one!" Jeongin stood up and started doing the Like Ooh-Ahh choreography specifically at the chorus.
"Hmm this is definitely fruity." Bangchan joked.
"I- okay." Jeongin fake cried and stopped dancing, then burst into laughter.
"It's okay so am I" Chan laughed and did the dance as well.
"That's wonderful." Jeongin laughed harder, then lost his balance, bumping into Bangchan causing them to both fall and Jeongin falling onto his lap.
