Chapter 20

The next day:

Jeongin had woken up the next morning with only one thought on his mind. The text message he had received from Lee Know saying to go back to the apartment they shared and grab his stuff. As well as 'talk' for a bit like 'friends do'. The younger had known he shouldn't go there when Lee Know was home but, he had realized he had forgotten about getting his stuff and wanted to take his belongings away from the house as soon as possible. "I'll be right back Channie." Jeongin whispered, not knowing whether or not the older was awake, he tiptoed out of the room quietly. Jeongin walked out of the house, and since he knew his way from Chan's house to his apartment, it worked out as well. Once he got there, he went into the building and walked up to the door that belonged to their house, and knocked on it hesitantly. "Hello..?" Jeongin said quietly, hoping nobody was home.

"Jeongin? I'm coming wait a second." After a pause the door handle turned, before the door swung open, revealing Lee Know. "Come in," He stepped aside.

"Thanks, uh I came to get my stuff of course... Sorry about your uh job by the way.." Jeongin bowed a bit before entering the house, leaving his shoes at the door.

"My parents are making me work at their company now but I literally hate everything there. I found advertising interesting but they work in product management." He rolled his eyes.

"Oh, that sucks." Jeongin said awkwardly, he couldn't really talk the way he did around Lee Know anymore like he used to but he tried to make it sound less awkward.

"Yeah, thanks." Lee Know sighed. "Your things are still where you last left them, I didn't even want to walk in there." He went over to his kitchen for a drink. "Anyway, are you happy now? I mean you're dating a rich guy, and he seems to like you enough to give you anything." Minho took a sip of his cold drink.

"I'm happy with him but that's of course not why I am. It's because he gives me a lot of attention." Jeongin replied, now starting to gather up his stuff.

"Has anyone told you stories of his last relationship? The rumors spread all around the office at the time. Apparently, Mr.Perfect," Lee Know made quotations with his fingers. "Is a drunk. People left him for his drinking problems. His ex's say that he gets overly aggressive. Besides the point, you say he gives you lot's attention as if I didn't do so myself. I gave you a shit ton of attention." Minho said. "You're just ungrateful, some day you'll move on from him too because his attention isn't enough." He sighed, his shoulder leaning on the wall frame beside Jeongin.

Jeongin's lip quivered and he looked at Lee Know. "He loves me okay? I don't even know if you did since you cheated on me over 10 times. Did you enjoy using me as a sex toy?" Jeongin asked, now slightly mad about the trash talk Minho said about his boyfriend.

"Well obviously you were okay with it, you dated me for years, then moved in with me." Minho scoffed. "Don't gas yourself up with Bangchan, even if he is a drunk, he's still always going to be too good for you." He said. "I don't make the rules."

"Lee Know, don't start this please. I just came here to get my stuff and that's all. I'll be on my way now." Jeongin slung his bag of stuff over his shoulder and started to walk past him.

"Fine, bye. Don't say I didn't warn you." Lee Know walked behind Jeongin and closed the door after he left.

"Bye." Jeongin said, even though he knew already that the door was closed. He decided to go back to Chan's house since he didn't have anywhere else to put his stuff anyways. When he got back, he put his stuff down in the guest room and spotted Bangchan in the kitchen looking at him.

"Hey, you went out? I was worried, I just woke up. Luckily you're fine, as I can see." Bangchan hugged Jeongin then went back to cutting up some fruits.
