Dominating His Heart [On-Going]

CHAPTER 1

CHAPTER 01: Going back to where it started.

University life sa umaga, Scrims at streaming sa gabi. That's my life as a college student na pagod na pero kailangan mag-aral at gaming ang libangan pati na din ang pinagkakakitaan.

I need to study hard for my scholarship and at the same time persuing what i love to do and a thing that i am passionate about.

I don't have anyone to rely on. It's just me and me all along the way. My parents refused to sustain me and my needs kasi ayaw nila sa kursong napili ko but i knew to my self that this is what i want. I already came this far and i am not going back.

“Lalim ng iniisip mo ah?” It's CK, my classmate and also teammate. I just smiled at her as she pulled the chair next to me. “Share.”

“It's nothing.” I assured her and she just nod at me as she started unpacking her baon.

“Tangina! Gutom nako huhuhu.” She said and started eating her lunch. Natawa ako sa mukha niya. She's usually neat and looking pretty everyday pero because of the late night scrim practice mukha na siyang zombie.

Zombie na maganda kumbaga. She has pretty curly hair that I love and  cute doe-eyes that can make everyone begging for her attention. A pointy nose and a heart shape lips.

“Gago matulog ka pag-uwi mo ah? Mukha kang zombie na panda!” I told her and she glared at me.

“Bwesit ka! Ikaw nga mukha kang nanay ng sampo e may sinabi ba ako?!” Naiinis niyang sabi. I gave her a bombastic side eye and we both laugh at each other.

Tangina. Bestfriend ko nga 'to. Panget din ang tabas ng dila eh.

“Kumain ka na nga! You have so many things to say pa eh!” I said and started to dig into my food that has been calling me for quite a while now. Nakaka-drained ang week na to. Puro reqs, quizzes, and PETA pero sabagay midterms week na niyan in the next few days kaya tinatambakan na kami ng gagawin.

So exhausted but what can i do? Gagawin at ipapasa o mag c-chill at babagsak? Hindi pa sure kung g-graduate.

After naming kumain ni CK bumalik kami agad sa building namin to review para sa next subject. Balita ko may pa recit ang prof so it's better to be prepared than to be sorry.

Walking around the hall with books in front of us has always been a sight to everyone here sa department namin knowing me and CK has been the top student ever since first year dahil may iniingatan kaming scholarship.

“Tanginang yan! Nakakapagod mag aral!” Reklamo ni CK at halatang napalakas ang boses niya. Napatingin kasi ang mga dumadaan na ibang estudyante sa biglaan niyang pag sigaw sa hall na ikinagulat ko din.

“Ingay mo. May nag k-klase sa ibang room oh.” Bulyaw ko. It's my job on a daily basis since i am also a student leader. “Bigyan kita offense diyaan eh.” Banta ko sakanya. Agad naman siyang nag pout at ready na ulit umalma pero nilagay ko ang index finger ko sa bibig niya para manahimik na at hindi maka-istorbo sa ibang nag k-klase pa at bumalik sa pag lalakad.

Totoo naman na nakakapagod mag-aral. Sobrang dami ba naman ng dapat gawin at i-pasa sa loob ng araw araw. Ang dami pang dapat aralin pero sempre at the end of the day worth it naman lahat ito.

“Bwesit kasi tangina... Kala mo robot kami eh...” Bumubulong-bulong sa hangin na sinasabi ni CK na ikinailing ko nalang din. Hindi ko din naman siya masisisi. Nakakapagod naman kasi talaga.

“Gov! Sandali!” Didiretso na sana ako paakyat sa hagdanan para makapunta sa floor namin nung may sumigaw na naman kaya napatigil ako sa pag-akyat.

Mga nakalunok ba naman ng mic at speaker.

“Mikee, Ikaw pala? Ano yon?” Tanong ko nung makalapit si Mikee na student council Vice Governor ng buong college at katuwang ko sa mga gawain sa mga events at kung ano ano pang ni re-rely ng school sa amin.

“Meeting for University days today. Nakalimutan mo ba?” He asked. Oo nga pala university day is in 2 days.

“Oo, pasensya na. May recit kasi kay Mr. De Jesus kaya medyo nawala sa isip ko.” I told him. Fuck. How could i forget such an important meeting? May recit kami in 30 minutes and if i-pupush ko yung meeting ngayon baka mawalan ako ng oras para mag review.

Tangina.

“We can re-schedule the meeting later at 5pm but of course everyone will no longer be available at that time since some are still in their own respective classes although the secretary on records will take note of the important details of the meetings so it can be sent to everyone who wasn't able to join us.” Mikee said, probably sensing the second thoughts I am having if i should attend the recit or attend the meeting and ask Mr. De Jesus for excusing me in today's meeting.

“Let's just reschedule the meeting. Thank you so much Mikee for all the help. I owe you a lot.” I said when i finally decided. I can't let this recit go. Masyadong malaki ang pointing system ng recit kumpara sa mga quizzes kay Mr. De Jesus and i won't be able to catch up if hindi ako a-attend today.

I owe Mikee a lot. He always got me and my sorry butt and because of my busy schedule, sometimes he's the one showing up on my behalf.

“You know i always got you, Pretty. See you later!” He said and even winked at me. I smiled at him and waved him goodbye and when he was gone i looked at CK who looks like she will gonna throw up any time soon.

“Always got you, Pretty nyenyenye” She imitated Mikee na ikinatawa ko. “He obviously likes you. Eww.” Dagdag niya pa and continued on her way to our floor and i followed her while laughing at her reaction.

She really hates Mikee ever since he ghosted her. Hays. People.
