The moment the tunnel closed by itself, a foul smell engulfed them making the girls immediately cover their noses and mouths. "It's poison, Tian Tian." Chu Chu said, muffled nonetheless can still be understood by her friends. "I know. If this gas is all over the tunnel, then we need to hurry. We'll have to rely on hand signals until we're clear from this." Bai Hao Tian said as Chu Chu nodded. They looked at Xia Yu Yan who remained quiet until they saw her hands moving in motion. 'Ah Qing. Hit. Hard. Breathe. Can't. Talk.' Xia Yu Yan signed at them as she smiled carefully so as to not worry them but it did made them worried which all the more made them determined that they reach the other side of the tunnel fast. 'We will have to move fast. We will have to walk even faster until we get out of this tunnel. Please bear with it until we reached the clearing, Yan Yan.' Bai Hao Tian signed at Xia Yu Yan who nodded, understanding their situation and hoping that there will be cleaner air than here.

As they walk forward, they heard someone talking up ahead. Confused and curious, they walked with caution until they can see whose voice they heard belong to and the person they all have been looking for. They saw Bo Sying, dressed in white robes and pink satin like Li Ju Lai. 'Ceremonial robes?' Chu Chu signed at her companions who both shrugged. Bo Sying wasn't wearing anything like the clothes that Li Ju Lai was wearing when she appeared to them. They all know for a fact that she was wearing pants, a shirt, a vest, and a pair of boots, the same as all of them. But now, a combination of white and pink dress, a wedding gown from the early civilization. Then, they saw the man she's with, dressed in a black jean-styled jacket, shirt, pants, and a pair of hiking shoes. "See? They are here now Jù Jù. Your friends are here to cheer you up. You don't have to be mad or sad anymore, darling." 'Darling? Jù Jù? Why is he calling Ah Sying, that?' Xia Yu Yan signed at her friends when all of a sudden, men surrounded them with their guns pointing at them having no chance of fighting back. "Glad that you could have joined us. My darling Jù Jù won't speak to me so I lured you girls, here. It's a shame though, the little girl was taken by her father. She's a perfect sacrifice at the beginning of the ceremony. Anyway, you three would suffice. Tie them all tight. I don't want any surprises before our wedding." The man said and walked away leaving the three girls at the mercy of his men. As they are being tied up, Bo Sying walked towards them when they noticed their gentle friend looking cold and distant. As if their friend suddenly changed into a stranger. "I'm trying to cleanse the air around all of you at the best that I can. Good that you are using hand signals. Kong Jin doesn't understand that. Also, whatever happens, don't talk. Just even the sound of your voice, he can get into your mind. Once that happens, he can see and use your fears to control you. And if you saw him hurt me, don't do anything. I'll tell you everything once we're safe." Bo Sying said through their minds when she was yanked away by the man, Kong Jin, hard but their friend didn't even flinch. "Why are you not talking? Why?!" Kong Jin yelled at Bo Sying, looking for any reaction but he didn't get anything. Even tightening his grip on her arms, none. Then Kong Jin looked at her friends, expecting to see them angry for what he's doing to their friend, instead, he saw them looking distant. He hissed and harshly let go of Bo Sying and took a deep breath to calm himself down. "It doesn't matter. All of you will be with me, will be with my Jù Jù. All of us will be together and no one will stand in my way. I will make sure of it." With that being said, Kong Jin ordered his men to fasten their pace by pushing Chu Chu, Bai Hao Tian, and Xia Yu Yan to get them to move as Bo Sying followed Kong Jin carefully with two of his other men guarding her on both sides.

"The boys are in the other tunnel." Chu Chu said, copying Bo Sying's way of getting into her mind a while ago. She wasn't really expecting an answer from her but when she saw her subtly looked back at her, Chu Chu gave her an encouraging nod. "Don't worry, Ah Sying. We're here" She continued, giving her support to be strong until they reached the end of the tunnel. "Thanks for cleaning the air, Sying Sying. We're here." Xia Yu Yan said through Bo Sying's mind using the power of her stone. She was not expecting any reply, but when she felt her right side and abdomen a warm sensation as if it is being healed. Instantly, she knew that Bo Sying is saying thank you. Bo Sying slowly looked back to check on Xia Yu Yan, if her healing powers worked when she saw Bai Hao Tian looked intently at her. No words are needed for them. Bo Sying already knows what their small leader is telling her only confirming it when she heard her voice in her mind that made her almost cry and run towards them and hide because, she's scared, terrified about what's happening now and what's about to happen. But she has to hang in there and be strong. Strong for her and her friends. Strong enough until they reached the end of the tunnel where her partner will be and she can't wait to see him even though he may be mad at her for this but she didn't care. As long as she can see him again. But for now, she needs to be strong. She must.
