The next day, John took his children Anne and Alan to their school."Bye daddy." said the two at once. The siblings looked at each other because of that. Anne blinked at what had happened and immediately walked inside the school.
"Daddy loves you always, you know that Alan. You will take care of your sister first." John instructed the older brother. Alan nodded in response to what his father had said.
Alan also went inside the school.
In the distance, he noticed a boy who looked exactly like him. He approached it quickly. "Who are you?" he asked.
"I am Tom." the child replied.
"Are you new here? Why did I only see you now?" Alan asked this boy.
"I'm new. Mommy just enrolled me here." Tom answered him again.
They were both surprised when suddenly they heard a loud voice.
"Brother!" they heard a loud voice.
Alan was distracted by Anne's shout. He left Tom in his place and he quickly approached Anne when he goes nearer to her and asked what was happening to her.
"What happened?" Alan asked as she approached her sibling.
"I was bitten," she says. Alam frowned because of what Anne said. What bites her here when there aren't any animals here?
"What bits you?" he asked his sibling. He immediately showed his arm.
"Ant," she answers.
"How did you get bitten? What did you do?" Alan asked his sister.
"Earlier, I saw a lollipop on the floor and then I was going to pick it up when I touched the handle an ant climbed on my hand. The first one that climbed didn't bite me but the next ant bit my hand, brother." Anne told her older brother.
"Why would you pick up something that has already fallen?" his older brother asked.
"I just don't have a lollipop brother and I'm attracted to the color of the candy," Anne replied to Alan again.
"Didn't Mama and Papa tell us that the food that fell shouldn't be picked up because there might have germs?" said Alan.
"Yes, brother," Anne replied.
"Don't do it again, will you?" said Alan, and then Anne just nodded in response to Alan.
They were taught all day inside the school what was they needed to know. Alan was quietly listening to the instructor in class while Anne was just sleeping in her class.
Until the end of the day, Alan still couldn't forget what Tom and he had in common and why they looked alike.
