Ch 3 Is this love? part 3

Drew: So, now that we now we both like each other, do you want to be my girlfriend?

Xanteria: Sure but first we need to see if Keaton is okay with it.

Drew: Agreed, he is after all my bro.

Drew: Xanteria is my girlfriend now, is that fine? Or should we not date?

Keaton: What, now? What did you just say?

Drew: That Xany is my girlfriend now and____

Keaton: *interrupts* No I heard you, I just don't understand why you would ask her to be your girlfriend and then ask me if you guys can continue dating, if you care for her, then you need to keep dating her and quit asking for permission.

Drew: Well, the reason why I ask, is you are my bro and you are her bestie so we would not want to hurt you or damage our relationship with you.

Keaton: No way. That is never going to happen. You will always be my bro, even if we do ever fight and Xanteria will always have a place in my heart, no matter what. You guys can freely do as you wish, remember that, and I must not stop you guys, please don't ask for my permission anymore, you guys do not need it.

Xanteria: So, is he fine with it?

Drew: Yes and he says we need to stop asking him for permission and that it would not damage our relationship with him in any way.

Xanteria: Great. Then we need to have our first date as couple.

Drew: Aren't you charming.

Xanteria: Can we go to IHop I have never been there.

Drew: You have never been there? Huh. Well that is something I have never heard someone say before. Have you ever been to Dennys? IHop is just like it but with more pancake choices. Do you still want to go? I mean we can but it does not seem like a romantic enough place for our first date.

Xanteria: Like Dennys, really? Ahh it's fine, I would still love to go if you are up for it, anyways, we can make IHop into a romantic environment.

Drew: Yes really. I am up for anything you want, I was just saying that it seemed like a place that lacked romance but that is true we could make it a romantic environment.

Xanteria: *Has an Aha moment* I have an idea, we should pretend we just got engaged today and tell the people at IHop.

Drew: Nah I have a better idea *whispers something to Xanteria* (Author Note: Not telling you what he said, you have to read on to find out)

Xanteria: I have the right things for that, let me get them they are at my house.

*At Dennys. Drew and Xanteria go inside the IHop then order their meals and Drew heads outside and brings in his guitar and a rose.*

Drew: *Once inside Dennys he starts strumming his guitar asks an IHop employee to hold the rose he has then starts singing the song When I see you smile by Bad English*

 *Drew grabs the rose from the IHop employee and hands him his guitar then kneels opens the fake rose to reveal a ring and asks Xanteria* Will you marry me? 

Xanteria: Yes.

Drew: *Drew places the ring on her ring finger and they hug and he kisses her cheek then the people at IHop could be heard saying Awww, how adorable and shouting Kiss! I want to see a real kiss from the newly engaged couple! Drew says* Okay *raises his lips and places them upon Xanteria's lips then carries her and twirls her and places her back in her seat and their food has arrived, Drew grabs his guitar from the waiter, tips the waiter and puts his guitar back in his car. Drew comes back in and joins Xanteria.* So Xany how was that?

Xanteria: It excelled my expectations. Wow that was so romantic. Haha but we need to ask for trays to put our food in cause I am about ready to have a fit of giggles, if we don't head out. 

Drew: I understand. Haha, come on lets do it.

*They head out with their trays of food.*

Xanteria: Haha. That was legit.

Drew: Haha yeah, indeed but now we cannot ever go into that IHop without people thinking we got engaged there. 

Xanteria: Making it even more romantic, especially since it was our first date.

Drew: Indeed. Lets go eat this food in a park.

*At the park, fits of laughter could be heard*

Xanteria:  Haha. That was so funny. Everyone believed us but no of course not, we can't be engaged, we just started dating, it is a bit too soon.

Drew: It seems more funny to you, than romantic, am I right?

Xanteria: I am sorry, this is our first date, I need to calm down, I just cannot help being like that sometimes I laugh too much and can't stop.

Drew: It is fine, maybe we can try again tomorrow?

Xanteria: Deal. Sorry I ruined the date.

Drew: No you didn't, it was kind of funny after all and I came up with that lame idea.

Xanteria: It wasn't lame, it was very romantic, the problem is that it wasn't for reals.
