Alexanders POV
"...I don't know, Vince. All I know is that I feel a dark surge of energy surrounding us - and it doesn't want us here."
'I shuddered as Nelly finished her statement. We were in the woods and I couldn't help but feel an evil presence surrounding us - It felt cold. Dark. EVIL.'
"GAH! THIS ISN'T HELPING" I shut my laptop closed with a frustrated sight after deleting the beginning of the summary, then pushed it as far away from me as possible.
Damn it! How can I write a book about paranormal shit if I don't even know how it feels to be scared and alone at THREE a.m in the woods!?
"Man, I need some hot chocolate..." With that being said, I stood up from my desk and started walking towards my kitchen. As I warmed up the milk on the stove, I started documenting my current state, something I do at random times.
Because ya know, I'm a single, lonely guy, with practically no life.
"So far, being a writer isn't really easy. You have to deal with deadlines, peer pressure, creativity ness. And worst of all", I shuddered momentarily, as I started shaking the chocolate powder into the bowl-pan thingy.
"Writers' block! The most dreadful case for all writers!" I swooned dramatically as I gathered up a handful of tiny marshmallows and dumped them into the bowl-pan to let them melt.
"But oh well, put college on top of that, and BOOM, the perfect recipe to land you in the hospital, due to stress overload."
After making sure my hot chocolate was hot enough, I poured some into my favorite mug, and sat down onto my red velvet sofa and started watching my favorite show; Criminal Minds. As I sat there, enjoying my wonderful hot chocolate, I heard my phone ring from the kitchen. I frowned.
'I swear...if its fucking Carl...'
I got up from my comfortable position on the couch and headed towards my kitchen. Without checking the caller ID, I flipped open my phone and answered.
"Hello, this is Alexander speaking, who is this?"
"Buddeeeeyyyy!!! Why woun' ya come down, an, an..." There was a slight pause and then a woman's voice in the background. "Oh yeah! That, Lizz! Yeah, wuat Lizz zaid man! Come hav'a few-he burped(ew)- 'rinks wit us!"
