A man in a black suit stood over a girl with brown hair and brown cat-like features in a fancy bed.

He slid open the drapes to the fancy room she was in. The girl grunted and turned her back away.

'Time to get up, miss,' he said.

'5 more minutes,' she groaned groggily and stuffed her face into the pillow.

'Nope!' He tore off the bed sheets and grabbed her ankles.

With a yelp, the girl was upside down face to face with her butler, Elton Windsor.

'Was that really necessary?' she asked and flicked her ear irritably.

'Completely,' he set her down and started making the bed.

The girl stood up, uncertain on what to do. 'You really don't have to do that,'

'Oh please, it's my pleasure!' He went to walk out before turning around. 'Get dressed Adola, you've got a big day today,'

The girl flopped onto the newly-made bed, rubbing her opposing eyes - one light blue and the other was turquoise, each with their own galaxy patterned Iris. 'It always is.'

Elton smiled and walked out.

Adola unwillingly got up and dressed into leggings and a knitted black sweater.

She lived alone with three of the staff member's in her parent's manor she had inherited after their death.

Mr. and Mrs. Exie had died together in a broiler explosion at their workplace. Their bodies had never been recovered and the pain they had left with their daughter never disappeared.

Although they had died when Adola was only 6 and she didn't remember them much, she couldn't help but think what life could have been like if they were still alive.

Ever since she turned 13, the young billionaire had also inherited the responsibilities of her deceased parents. Parties, money, business had all become one of Adola's daily chores.

Adola walked down the medieval manor and down the main stairwell to the dining hall.

Most people thought a girl that was only 15 years old should not have such a big place to live, but she didn't mind. She kind of liked it, she could run from one room to another without hitting any walls (which she did often).

'Good morning miss,' the maid, Marrian said when she entered.

'Morning Marrian,' Adola replied and felt her inside squirm. She hated being greeted so formal.

'Did you tell her yet?' The gardener, Ben (who was only a couple years older than Adola) asked Elton.

'Not yet,' he smiled.

'Tell me what?' Adola asked when she had sat down.

'Elton's found you a summer camp to go to!' Marrian blurted.

Everyone in the room glared at her.

'Sorry.' she squeaked.

'I already went to summer camps.' Adola laid her chin on one of her hands. 'I know all that I need to know,'

Although that was partially untrue, Adola would give anything to stay away from educational summer camps.

'Not necessarily,' the cook, Brian Canmore said. 'You've missed out on a lot of your childhood since your parent's deaths.'

'2 years isn't a lot of a childhood.' Adola pointed out.

'True, but you need to get out more, social events aren't good enough.' Elton replied.

'What type of camp is this?' Adola narrowed her eyes.

'A hobby camp for animals,' Ben said.

'A hobby camp?' Adola repeated flatley. 'You're kidding, right?'

'Nope, and you're going.' Elton replied.

'Whatever,' Adola stood up and went to go, when Brian grabbed her shoulders and sat her back down again.

'Where do you think you're going? You still haven't eaten!'
