Falling (Joey Tribbiani x Reader)

We started the morning off in Central Perk for some coffee and I had a muffin. Today was thanksgiving and me, Ross, Monica and Phoebe were staying at Monica's for thanksgiving dinner whilst, Joey was staying at his parents and Rachel was going on a skiing trip with her family. Chandler doesn't have Thanksgiving dinner he says something about hating it because of his past or something. Me, Ross and Monica were meant to be at our parents but we couldn't so Mon was going to make it like Mom. I hadn't seen Mom and Dad yet and today I was supposed to see them but now they are away I'm not sure. I had originally come for Nana's funeral but my plane was delayed. Ross just left for Carols so I headed home to my apartment. It was nice and quiet so I decided to continue reading my book. In London, I was too busy to read so I was just starting to read Little Women. It was so good but I won't say anything for spoilers. I was 108 pages in when I got a knock on my door I turned to see who it was and saw Monica. 'Hey do you think you can give me 20 bucks we are putting it towards Rachel's ski trip?' I nodded and grabbed my purse and handed her my money she said goodbye and left. I decided to mess with my hair for a bit. Before I left London I was thinking about dying my fringe a different colour or just cut my hair but decided against it. I grabbed my jacket and decided to head to Monica's. 'The most unbelievable thing has just happened. Underdog broke free.' The rest of the conversation was a blur but in the end we all decided to go watch from the roof. We watched it fly around before they shot him down. I screamed because I was really jumpy and that caused us all to laugh before leaving.
'Okay by now the Turkey should be crispy on the outside juicy on the inside.' We stood there for a few seconds before we realised we forgot the keys. Luckily Joey and Chandler had a copy and ran to grab them. He had loads of keys and they were taking ages. I was starving and I was starting to get hangry. Rachel and Monica started arguing and then Monica started getting stressed and emotional. I hugged her until Joey announced that it was open we all entered and everything was ruined. Ross was humming but then said that it didn't smell like moms. Everyone was shouting at each other but then I stopped them all by shouting. 'SHUT UP IT DOESNT SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS SCREAMING AT EACH OTHER!' We all sat down and just moped around until we saw Ugly Naked Guy with a friend. This all made us appreciate our friends. We decided on Grilled Cheese and Soup for dinner and split toast. 'I know this isnt the thanksgiving everyone planned but I think this was really amazing. Well considering the fact that there was no divorce or projectile vomiting.' We all had our dinner and I was about to open the door to my apartment when Joey grabbed my hand. I don't talk about it much but we have been getting a lot closer we are always around each other. He just hugged me I hugged back confused but smiled nonetheless. I kissed him on the cheek and waved goodbye blushing.
