There was a town called Minetasville. The people that had lived in the town of Minetasville about 100 years ago abandoned it; for some unknown reason. The government only reopened the town about 60 years ago.
In the town of Minetasville, there was a mysterious door in the middle of the woods that just sat there in its frame. No one knows why it was there, or when it got there, it was just there. Kids would ask their parents about it, but their parents would just tell them they don't know and that they should just stay away from it. The door was made out of black wood and had carvings of 3 seemingly terrified faces with arms/hands around them. It looks like the arms are coming out of the door holding the faces onto it. People have tried opening the door, but it wouldn't budge.
One day a new kid came to town: Alex Lee Storm, a gay, 16-year-old trans boy, that uses he/they pronouns. He has short black hair, pale green eyes, he has a lip piercing on their left bottom lip, he's kind of scrawny, and stands at 5'3''. He moved to town to stay with some of his mom's family. His father had passed away a few years back, and his mother is always working. She doesn't like leaving Alex home alone often, so she decided to send him to stay with her siblings that live on either side of the same duplex with their kids. Alex's aunt and uncle each have one kid: Rose Juliet Princeton, and North Charlies Jackson.
Rose is Alex's aunt's daughter; she has long red strawberry blonde hair, emerald green eyes, 17 years old, she is skinny, stands at 5'5'', and her parents are divorced. Rose has her father's last name, Princeton, which was her mom's last name when her parents were married.
North is Alex's uncle's child; they are genderfluid, male, have short blonde hair, ice-blue eyes, 16 years old, stands at 5'6.5'', they're scrawny but well built, and they never knew their mom. North has their father's last name, Jackson, which is Alex's mom and aunt's maiden name.
"Hi, Alex. How was the bus ride here?" his aunt, Olivia, asked greeting him after he had knocked on her door having just arrived.
Alex was going to move into his aunt's old guest room, so he went to her side to put his things in his room before seeing his uncle and cousins, who were still at school. It was Rose and North's last day of school for the year, but Alex's school had finished two days before. Olivia had taken the day off, so she could help get Alex settled in.
"Hi, aunt Olivia. The bus ride was long and kinda smelly" Alex said, entering the duplex.
"Yeah, public transport can be smelly sometimes." Olive took a suitcase from Alex and moved towards the stairs saying, "Anyway, let me show you to your new room. It's upstairs." Alex followed his aunt upstairs, which led into a hallway with 1 door on the left, towards the end of the hall, and 2 doors on the right one near the end, and the other a few feet from the stairs. His aunt brought him to the end of the hall, opened the door on the left, walked in, and put Alex's suitcase down. "This is your room. You have your own half bathroom in here, a good-sized closet, a queen-sized bed, a desk, and a dresser. Your uncle Toby offered to bring you to the store tomorrow, so you can get some stuff for your room if you want."
"Okay. Thank you, for letting me stay with you. I know mom really appreciates it." Alex said, putting his stuff down then hugged his aunt.
