Alex and uncle Tony pulled up to school. Alex got out of the car and went to where he saw his cousins talking to some other teens, while Tony stayed in the car. Alex snuck up to the two. "Boo," he said, tapping the shoulders of the two.
"Alex!" Rose said, hugging Alex.
"A-J!" North said, hugging Alex as well. A-J had been Alex's nickname for a long time. It's from his birth name: Alice-Jane. Alex didn't mind the still being called by the old nickname.
"Miss me?" Alex asked, chuckling.
"Heck yeah!" Rose and North said simultaneously.
"Uncle Tony's waiting, we should go," Alex suggested. "We can catch up at the duplex and in the car."
