[Tokoyami x Reader] Let's Dance pt.1

Tokoyami and (y/n) had been friends since day one of pre-school. That was until he started avoiding them all the sudden in their last year without any warning or reasoning.
~ two weeks prior ~
"Toko! Toko!" The energetic (h/c) individual yelled excitedly as they ran up to the quieter male. "What is it (Y/N)?" Tokoyami looked up at them as he rubbed the back of his neck to ease the slight pain he had from looking down to read. "Guess who just got asked to prom!" Their (e/c) eyes sparkled as they excitedly told their best friend the story of how Denki asked them to go to prom with him.
                        <flashback>
    (Y/N) was walking down the hall to their dorm sort of dejected, prom was around the corner and no one had asked them. It wasn't like they needed someone to go with but it was just a little more fun when someone did ask you. Then along came crashing none other than the outgoing blond that was Denki Kaminari. He tripped and stumbled his way over to (Y/N) with a bright smile and finger guns.
    "Hey! (Y/N)!" he leaned against the wall caging them in and smoothed his hair down. "What's up Kaminari?" (Y/N)'s head tilted as they leaned against the wall as well arms crossed. "Well I was wondering, who's your prom date? I mean a buzzy beautiful person such as yourself has got to have one right?" At this (Y/N) felt their face slowly and steadily heat up. "N-No I don't have one actually..." Kaminari perked up at that and went on to ask questions as to why as well as giving off loads upon loads of compliments and flirty comments which in turn caused poor (Y/N) to turn completely red.
    "Hey! I have an idea what if.... we," he motioned between the two of them. "go together?" he smiled brightly a smile that (Y/N) returned before nodding. "Yeah that sounds awesome!" They laughed softly and happily then hugged their electric friend causing him to let out a slight static shock before he hugged them back. "Can't wait! See you tomorrow Kaminari!" then they were gone, off to go tell their best friend about the experience they'd just had. Even if a few of the details weren't as they had planned, like the person who asked them to prom being Kaminari instead of someone else they had in mind.
<Flashback End>

    Tokoyami hid both his shock and his slight envy. He had planned on asking (Y/N) to the prom but had been unable to find them in order to ask. They were bestfriends after all. But maybe he'd been wanting something more and had been hoping prom could make that happen. The male put on his hint of a smile for his best friend. "That's good (Y/N) I know you've been wanting someone to ask you to prom. I'm proud of you" at this (Y/N) smiled "hey Toko you wanna come with me to go get my (dress/tux)?" Tokoyami shrugged "I have nothing else to do so why not" The other teen smiled more brightly and dragged the darker boy away and out into the world.
    "Ok ok what about his one?" (Y/N) walked out in a ridiculously colored outfit in an attempt to get their best friend to laugh
