Michael's Point of View
"Lilly, please get ready we're going to be late." Jenny screamed from the bottom of the steps. We were having dinner with family in the city and as usual we were waiting on Lilly. She ran downstairs and brushed past us.
"Excuse me, young lady. I have no problem putting you over my knee if you want to act like a five year old." Jenny said. Lilly rolled her eyes.
"Michael, handle this please." What do parents do during times like this? Maybe I should yell at her. That's sounds great! I was about to speak when I noticed a black spot on her shoulder. Sweet baby Jesus she has the bubonic plague. How long will she survive for?
"Lilly what is that on your shoulder?"
"Oh this? I got this tattoo last week. Like it? I got birds it signifies my liberation from Shelly." I could see Jenny about to burst and she was trying not to explode.
"You know we don't allow tattoos in this house. What the hell is wrong with you?! And what happened to Shelly?"
"Well parental unit, if you must know. She was moving too fast asking me to marry her and shit. I think the whole lesbian thing was a phase anyway. Strictly dickly now." I watched Jenny as she walked upstairs and heard her open our bedroom door. The cookie has been compromised. Phase? Strictly Dickly? I caught them making out last week? What kind of bullshit is she smoking? I actually liked Shelly she kind of grew on me. Before I could respond Jenny emerged with her hands behind her back.
"Bella, what are you doing?" She revealed my old leather belt, and took off her heels. She zeroed in on Lilly. She grabbed Lilly and beat her with the belt. Normally I feel bad when we have to beat the kids but she deserved this one.
"Now stop that crying before I give your ass something to cry about. Now go put on a dress that doesn't show your lady parts. And while your up there you better have an apology for your father and I." She wiped her eyes and went upstairs.
"Nice work." I said giving her a high five. Teamwork makes the dream work.
