Chapter 6: Joker comes back for more Part 1

The next day Bruce was working in the batcave on his computer while Diana was working at the Museum she worked at in Gotham. Just then Clark started texting in a group chat he has with Diana, Bruce, Hal, Shiera, and Barry.

Clark's text messages to the group. 

Clark: "Bruce, Diana you guys might want to look at the news."

Bruce:"Why?"

Diana: "Why, what's wrong? I'm at work right now."

Shiera: "It's the Joker."

Diana: "Okay." 

Diana turns on the TV. She see's a recording of the Joker on the News saying that he is going to have all of his followers come into Gotham and do something that people are not going to like unless he gets what he wants. 

Bruce's POV

I turn on the tv to see a recording of the Joker on the News. Just as I finished watching I get a phone call from Diana. 

Bruce's call with Diana

Bruce: "Hey."

Diana: "Please tell me you saw the News?"

Bruce: "Yeah I did. We need to head over there now."

Diana: "Alright."

Both Bruce and Diana hang up the call and suit up. When they meet each other they did not want to be seen by Joker's followers so they went up on a roof together. 

"So what are we waiting for?" Diana said looking down at the street with all the people down there. "We are waiting for Joker or one of his followers to make a move."

Diana sighs. "Patience Princess." Bruce said. But it didn't take long before one of Joker's followers had shot and Innocent person. That is when Batman and Wonder Woman went down to stop what was happening. They both look at each other and realize how many of Jokers followers were around. 

"I'm going to call in Nightwing for a little help." Batman said. A few minutes go by when Nightwing came in. "So what's the plan?" Nightwing said looking around them. 

"First we need to get rid of Jokers followers then we can go look for Joker." Wonder Woman said. As she said that Joker's followers heard what she said about getting rid of them so they started shooting at Wonder Woman but she was able to block the bullets with her gauntlets fast. 

Batman and Nightwing joined the fight with her. While they were fighting, one of Jokers followers had placed a bomb right across from them. The bomb was in a black case and they didn't even notice until someone yelled "BOMB!" and they all turn around and there were 7 seconds left. Wonder Woman had went up to one of Jokers followers that were blocking her to stop it from blowing and she pushed him away. 

Wonder Woman had grabbed the case that contained the bomb and flew up high into the air tossing the case high into the sky. Batman and Nightwing were watching her as she flew up into the sky then the case blew up into the sky.

"Holy sh*t" dick said when the bomb blew up. 

Wonder Woman came falling down from the sky fast and she fell down hard to the ground. Both Batman and Nightwing came rushing over to her, she got up and looked around her. 

"You alright?" Batman asked worried. "Yea, I'm fine." She said "That was a hell of hit." Nightwing said. "Let's just hope that there are no more bombs lying around. I think we've had enough bombs here in Gotham for once." Wonder Woman said.
