Chapter 7: Joker comes back for more Part 2

After the bomb had blew up into the sky the GCPD came rushing over to take all of Jokers followers to Jail. After they were taken away James Gordon came up to Batman, Wonder Woman, and Nightwing. 

"Did you find the Joker yet?" Gordon asked. "Nope, but we are going to start looking for him right now." Batman said. 

James Gordon got back to his police car and starting drive back to the GCPD. Once everyone left Nightwing, Batman and Wonder Woman went to Wayne Manor to look at the city security cameras in the batcave. 

After some time of searching the security cameras they found Joker in an alley just sitting there. All three of them went to the alley that was near a theater and Joker was still sitting there. They went up to Joker. 

"Finally your here!" Joker said. "You knew we were coming?" Nightwing asked confused. "Of course, you think I didn't notice that camera right there?" Joker said laughing and pointing to the camera. Joker pulls out a small device from his pocket. "Well I guess i should be heading back in time." Joker said. "What do you mean your going back in time?" Diana asked while raising her eyebrow. "Back in time so then the Dark Knight does not exist anymore." Joker said with an evil smile on his face. 

Nightwing, Batman, and Wonder Woman all glance at each other. Joker takes the small device and opens up a breach that allows him to go back in time. He walks inside and the breach closes. 

"Nightwing stay here in Gotham to look after the city while me and Diana are gone." Batman said opening up a new breach to take them to were Joker was headed. Bruce and Diana walk into the breach to find themselves at a theater close by. 

"Where are we?" Diana said looking at Bruce. "Still in Gotham but this is the day my parents died." Bruce said with a sad tone. Just then they noticed 2 parents with their child. "Those are my parents and me when I was younger." Bruce said to Diana as they followed behind them. "Your mom looks beautiful." Diana said with a smile on her face. "She was beautiful." Bruce said watching his parents.

Young Bruce and his parents had walked into an alley while Bruce and Diana hid behind a wall to watch what was going to happen. Just seconds later they see a guy with his face covered and had a gun in his hands. Bruce and Diana had watched his parents get shot. 

"Oh my god." Diana whispered. They look back over to see the gunman starting to point the gun at Bruce. Diana didn't even notice that she took a few steps. She wanted to stop the gunman but Bruce garbs the front of her waist and pulls her back. Just as Diana was pulled back she could feel Bruce's muscular body on her back. "It's okay he doesn't shoot me." Bruce said while still holding her. Diana turned around to give him a hug. 

"I'm so sorry this had happened to you." Diana said with a sad tone. She looks up at him and they stare at each other but then they hear laughter and they knew it was Joker. 

"Hello, little boy." Joker said looking young Bruce. "Who are you?" Young Bruce said wiping away his tears. "Oh just someone who is going to end your misery." Joker said with a smile on his face. Just when Joker said that he pulled a gun out of his pocket. "Well here goes nothing." Joker said pulling the gun towards young Bruce. 

When Joker almost shot Bruce, Diana came to block the bullet with her gauntlets. Joker was stunned. "Hey babe." Joker said to Wonder Woman.

"Never call me that!" Diana said punching Joker. 

Batman started to fight with Joker after Wonder Woman had punched him. Wonder Woman went up to young Bruce to comfort him. She sat down next to young Bruce and she could tell that he was really scared. She put her arms around him as young Bruce did not hesitate to hug her. 

"Everything is going to be okay now." Diana said hugging Bruce tightly. That's when young Bruce started to cry. 

Bruce had now knocked Joker out cold, he pulled a device out of his utility belt that wiped away the Jokers memories about him wanting to kill Bruce and traveling back in time. 

Bruce's POV

I had just knocked out Joker and wiped away his memories about this ever happening. I look over and found Diana hugging my younger self and comforting him. I smiled. "She's so great when it comes to kids." Bruce thought to himself. 

Bruce decides that they should be heading back to their time now. "Diana, we got to go." Bruce said looking at Diana and his younger self. "Okay, just give me a minute." She said looking up at Bruce. Bruce walks away and watches Diana and he heard what she said to younger Bruce. 

Diana got up and started kneeling down to her knees looking at young Bruce. "Bruce look at me." She said lifting up his chin and wiping away one of his tear away with her thumb. "I know that this is hard for you but just know that none of this is your fault. I don't want you blaming yourself for it. Okay?" She said reassuring him. Young Bruce shook his head yes and pulled her in for another hug. She held him tight and kissed him on his head. Just then the police came and Diana left and went with Bruce and they grabbed Joker. 

When they breached out of there both Diana and Bruce headed to the GCPD in their Armor/ Suits and told the GCPD that they got Joker. Batman and Wonder Woman went up to James Gordon to tell him what happened. 

"We are going to be transferring Joker back to Arkham Asylum, with more guards watching him." Gordon said. When they started walking out all the Police officers were starring at Wonder Woman and Batman expecting not to see them with Joker. 

Just then Bruce and Diana went back to Wayne Manor. "Hello master Bruce and miss Prince." Alfred said. "Hello Alfred." Diana said with a smile on her face. "Did you guys get the Joker?" Alfred asked. "Yes, yes we did." Bruce said in a happy tone. 

Both Bruce and Diana walked up to his bedroom. When they got into his room Bruce had grabbed Diana by the waist and turned her around and pulled her into a kiss. "What was that for?" Diana asked smiling at him. "Watching you with my younger self and you comforting him was really nice of you." he said said smiling at her. 

She smiled back and they starting kissing each other. Bruce picked her up while not breaking the kiss and she wrapped her legs around him. Bruce took them into the bathroom locking the door behind them. They took of their clothes and got into the shower and did it......(I think you know what I mean by that.😏)

"Would you like to stay over tonight?" Bruce asked Diana. "Yes, I'd love to." They both went to bed and called it a night.
