(Y/N) scanned the store as she wore headphones, her way of communicating with Red Leader, but also just regular headphones.

"I don't see any of the boys here," (Y/N) whispered to Red Leader, scanning the aisle once more, catching a color of green. "Nevermind, I think I found one,"

(Y/N) walked up to the brunette, who grabbed a box of 24 cola cans and placed it in the shopping cart before going to grab another one. An idea came to (Y/N) along with a smirk as she strolled to the boy while his back was faced to her. She lightly pushed herself onto him, causing him to lose his grip on the box, it fell to the floor.

"My cola!" the boy yelled, his arms outstretched from when he tried to grab the box before it fell. He turned around, his eyes still wide until he noticed (Y/N).

"Oh, I'm so sorry!" (Y/N) picked up the box from the floor and handed it to the cola-obsessed guy.

"Oh, It's alright. My name's Edd," the boy said as he put the box in the cart,  "I don't think I've seen you around. Are you new here?"

"Oh, I'm (Y/N) and yeah. I came to visit one of my old friends! My family moved to the city a long time ago and we kind of, drifted off after my move," (Y/N) blurted out, the made-up story rolled off her tongue so effortlessly that she even  convinced herself that it was real.

Edd had put a fifth box of cola in the cart before grabbing the cart's handle and walked down the aisle with (Y/N), pushing the cart to the checkout line. "That's cool, who's your friend?"

(Y/N) felt her mind blank out for a moment as she processed Edd's question. Who is someone that is a part of Edd's gang that she can not only get along with, but also manipulate and use to her advantage? Then, a specific name came to mind.

"Matt, his name is Matt,"

Edd stopped dead in his tracks, his eyes wide and mouth agape as he dropped the box, ever so gently, as he turned his attention to (Y/N). "Matt, as in a ginger with a purple hoodie and green overcoat?!"

(Y/N) gave a hesitant nod, unsure of what else to do as the boy stood in disbelief and her so-called boyfriend scolded her through her headphones. His voice  was getting so loud that she had to lower the volume to avoid getting her eardrums blown up. She noticed Edd had a slight look of suspicion, a hand on his chin as he thought.

"But, Matt's never said anything about an old friend?" (Y/N) was quick to stop Edd from looking into her story any further as she paid for Edd's cola, giving the cashier a smile and putting the boxes of cola back in the cart. The brunette looked at the cashier and back at (Y/N), who was urging him to follow her to which he obliged. He put his hands in his pockets while the two of them walked out of the store and to Edd's car, him leading the way of course.

"(Y/N), you better not let this chance go to waste!" Red Leader yelled, his tone dark and serious. (Y/N) could only imagine the look on his face at her weak attempts of infiltrating the gang's house. She turned away a little, making sure Edd couldn't hear as he occupied himself with the cola boxes.

"Don't worry your pretty little head about it," (Y/N) assured him as she looked back at Edd, who gave her a smile which she returned. "I'm just getting started,"

She could feel Red Leader smirk at her words, a sense of confidence emitting from his voice as he chuckled. (Y/N)'s conversation was cut short as Edd tapped her shoulder.

"I have to go, the others are waiting for me. It was nice meeting you though!" (Y/N) grabbed onto Edd's sleeve, pulling him back a bit as he looked into her pleading eyes.

"Edd, I know that this might sound weird and I know we've just met but," Edd felt his heart skip a beat as (Y/N) held onto him, "Could you, maybe, take me with you?"

A blush crept onto Edd's cheeks as (Y/N) finished her sentence. He didn't have a clue about what just happened and whether it was a good thing or  a bad thing until (Y/N) began to speak again.

"I want to see Matt again,"

Edd felt his blush fade, his feeling of happiness replaced with a feeling he couldn't quite describe. He faced (Y/N) with a small smile as he told her a small 'sure.' Her eyes lit up as she let go of Edd's sweater and hopped into the front seat, next to Edd who put the car key in and started the engine. (Y/N) didn't feel like talking to Edd, so she asked him to raise the radio's volume to which he nodded, turning the dial up enough to block out (Y/N)'s whispers as she spoke with Red Leader.

"So, you're on your way to Edd's house right now, correct?" the Norwegian questioned, the sound of his fingers along his keyboard loud and clear.

"Yes, I have an idea of what to do when we get there but, it may take a bit to convince Matt to join in on my little charade," (Y/N) said, checking her nails out of boredom and taking quick glances at Edd's direction.

"That's fine. Matt's the dumbest of the group. Even if you can't convince him, you can still get on his good side and turn him into one of your allies. It's Tom who I'm worried about,"

"What about Tom?" (Y/N) looked back at Edd, who had taken a quick look at her. Their eyes locked for a bit till Edd remembered he was driving.

"He might be able to see through your lie so, I'd keep my guard up with him," Red Leader advised with a frown.

"I'm sure I can handle another brunette," (Y/N) said with confidence as she looked along the town through the open window, her face feeling cold from the wind that blew against her.

"Sure you can," Tord murmured, rolling his eyes at her statement.

"C'mon, I handle you pretty well," Tord's face turned red at the girl's sudden confidence. He liked this side of her but, sometimes he wished it wouldn't come up at times like these. He cleared his throat, hoping he could get back on track. "We're here, I'll talk to you later... Love you,"

(Y/N) hung the call and let out a sigh that caught Edd's attention, but he didn't want to pry into her private life. He instead got out of the car and asked (Y/N) if it was okay with her to help him bring the colas into the house. She, of course, agreed and helped him put the colas into the fridge. When she stepped into the house, she noticed Tom and Matt sitting on the couch and watching a movie. Tom had his usual nonchalant expression as Matt was holding a pillow, shaking as they were watching a horror movie.

Unfortunately, (Y/N) wasn't looking where she was going and bumped into the wall, catching the two's attention. Tom's eyes widened for a bit until he noticed it was just a stranger inside their house holding a cola box, nothing special. Matt wasn't so calm. He let out a scream and started to throw pillows at the girl as Edd rushed through the door.

"What's going o-" Edd , was cut off by a pillow hitting his face as Tom let out a loud laugh and Matt yelled 'Sorry!' Edd picked up the pillow and chucked it back to Matt.

"NOT THE FACE!" Matt screamed as he fell off the couch making Tom laugh once more before looking back at (Y/N), who just watched the whole thing unfold.

"Who's the girl?" Edd calmed himself with a deep breath and took the box off (Y/N)'s hands, walking to the kitchen and placing the box on the table. He ran back to the living room and took a place at (Y/N)'s side.

"This is (Y/N). She said she's an old friend of Matt's," Tom gave (Y/N) a suspicious look at first, but he brushed it off and continued to watch the movie.

"I don't remember anyone named (Y/N)," Matt said as (Y/N) silently freaked out and decided to take matters into her own hands.

"You might not remember because it was so long ago! We were just little kids after all!" Matt took a minute to think before ultimately agreeing with (Y/N) that his memory might be hazy because it was so long ago. He ran up to the girl and gave her a tight hug, surprising (Y/N) a bit before she hugged him back. "Do you guys mind if I stay for a while? I've had a hard time looking for a place to live and I thought maybe Matt would let me stay with him at his house,"

Edd and Matt agreed to letting (Y/N) stay while Tom shrugged his shoulders. (Y/N) grinned as she hugged Edd and Matt, thanking all of them for letting her stay. After the hug, she excused herself and walked outside to make a call.

The phone rang twice until someone picked up and the only thing (Y/N) said was "The mission is a go," before hanging up and walking back into the house as Red Leader sat in his office with a smirk. Both of them were eager to see what was in store for them in this new adventure.
