Tord slipped on his red hoodie, not bothering to put on his blue tailcoat as it would attract unwanted attention. He pulled the hood up and tried his best to hide his scarred hand with black gloves and bandaged his arm to prevent the hoodie from tugging at his scarred skin.

"Paul, Patryck," two soldiers ran up at Tord's call, "You two are in charge. I have some business to take care of,"

Paul and Patryck bid Tord farewell, assuring the Norwegian that the army was in safe hands.

Tord made his way out the door and the base as he shoved his hands into the pocket of his hoodie, avoiding eye contact with anyone he didn't know.

"Huh, when was the last time I'd been out?" Tord muttered to himself, taking in the trees and sounds that he hadn't heard in years. All of it brought a smile to his face, if only for a second. "Well, back to the task at hand,"

Tord looked for a familiar lane. Durdam Lane, to be exact. He followed the path that he knew all too well, memories flooding back. All of them were too painful to remember as he knew that he was in the wrong, but his mind had succumbed to insanity.

Memories such as fights with Tom that never failed to make his day. The look of Tom's furious face always made his day, even if the fights could end with them both bleeding and bruised.

One of his personal favorite things being the times when they would go on adventures and be acting, as Edd called them, "A bunch of ignorant buffoons,"

Oh, how he missed those days, but that desire was replaced with a desire for a specific someone: (Y/N).

Even just thinking about (Y/N) made him smile uncontrollably and unfortunately, this wasn't one of those times. Usually his mind would be filled with (Y/N), but right now.

The only thing on his mind was his plan: Get (Y/N) back and destroy Edd, Tom and Matt. No matter what it takes.

A groan escaped the Edd's mouth as the sunlight hit his face. He sat up from where he had fallen asleep, his face exploding into a deep shade of red as he noticed where he had fallen asleep.

(Y/N)'s hand had fallen into her lap, considering she had been running her hand through the brunette's hair until she fell asleep.

Edd shook his head to get rid of his blush, though it wasn't as effective as he had hoped it would be. He grabbed a hold of (Y/N) and laid her down onto the couch, grabbing a blanket before placing it on top of (Y/N)'s body.

"You really love her, don't you?"

"Yeah, yeah I d-- Wait, when did you wake up?!" Edd exclaimed, slapping a hand on his mouth as he glanced at (Y/N), hoping he didn't wake her up.

Tom glanced at (Y/N), his smirk grew even more at the sight of the brunette's red face. "I just woke up," Tom said, running a hand through his tangled hair.

Edd stood up from his seat next to (Y/N) before making his way to the kitchen and grabbing a cola can from the fridge. He opened it up and took a sip, hoping Tom would forget about the scene he had just witnessed.

Unfortunately, luck was not on Edd's side today. "If you really love her, tell her. Don't wait until it's too late,"

Edd looked down at the floor, processing Tom's words of wisdom. And Edd knew that Tom had a point, but he couldn't bring himself to confess his feelings as it could lead to rejection and a broken friendship.

"Hm, oh, Edd! There you are!"

The two brunettes looked towards the living room and spotted (Y/N), who had woken up with a look of relief plastered on her face. She ran up to Edd, her words unintelligible as she spoke at a fast pace, "You had me scared for a second there! I couldn't find you so I--"
