We switched again, Jason mouthed off at the police! Zameel told me during English, I keep thinking every few seconds that the police the will come and slap their cuffs on my wrists and I'll end up in juvie.

Zameel went to Maths after English but I had science so we split up. At lunch, I spot Zameel waiting near Aurora but he doesn't sit at the table. He always waits for me and Rafael, because he can't sit at table with a girl due to his religious preferences. Aurora and Zameel were close friends growing up and he always told her when they were older they couldn't talk too much, she was a bit upset for a bit when the time came but since Zameel is always with me they still talk a bit, just saying "hi", "bye", or "how's your mum?".

I go over to them and we both sit down and then Rafael comes and sits down. "No Scarlett today?"

He shakes his head and nods over to the 'gossip girl' table as Aurora calls them. "She's busy talking about how she rewatched some random show last week."

"It's not good to eavesdrop, Rafael," Aurora scolds him. 

"I just went to ask if she wanted to sit with us today," he protests. "It's not my fault she's loud."
"Why do you keep asking if she never comes?" says a student on the table next to us. I know his name, his name is Yuusha Chibana. He is mix-raced, Blasian (black and Asian). He is also Muslim like Zameel.

"Hey Yuusha," Zameel says.

He nods then looks intently at Rafael, "I know she's your foster sister but why do you ask her every day if she'll join you if she never does?"

"Isabella says we're supposed to sit together," Rafael explains.

"So we do," Aurora continues. "But she never does."

"Well Scarlett doesn't seem like such a fun person," Yuusha laughs. "She's either fake smiling or scowling."

"And how do you know this?" Zameel asks.

"I have sisters," he says dryly. "Twins and are in Scarlett's class, they love gossip."

That shocks a laugh out of Aurora, "Sara and Hana right?" 

He nods again, "My parents are very creative, you know," he begins. "Yusha, Sara and Hana are all names in Arabic as well as Japanese."

"Wow, clever!" I say which surprises everyone since I'm the quiet one.

We spend time chatting with Yuusha until lunch and then we all split up, Aurora is in my class so I follow after her and she points out to me who Sara and Hana are and then we sit at the back of the class and wait for the teacher to arrive.
