The Night

Jason

I wake up at 10, I don't have much to do tonight, I might just watch a movie with Isabella. I head downstairs, straight to the fridge. There is a sticky note saying Aurora is waiting for me. I wonder why?

Quietly I go to Aurora and Scarlett's room. Aurora doesn't actually sleep there, there is an entrance to the attic at the front of the door. In the attic is Scarlett's actual room. Knock once for Scarlett and twice for Aurora. 

I rap at the door twice and wait one minute for it to swing open and Aurora to appear. Scarlett as usual is fast asleep so we have to whisper, "¿que esta mal?

"Nothing," she smiles. "Papa bought us Dead or Alive 6, quieras jugar?"

"Si," I nod smiling. "Vamos."

She leads me to her room and I see the Ps4 already set up, she knew I wasn't going to turn her down. We starts playing, I pick Hayabusa and she picks Kasumi, we ended up playing for a couple of hours before I felt Aurora's head drop onto my shoulder, now asleep. I turn off the Ps4, out of 200 rounds, I won 90, Aurora won 95 and we tied 15 times.

I pick up Aurora's sleeping form and put her onto her bed then head downstairs. Back to the kitchen for a glass of milk. "Jason?" I hear a sleepy voice.

I turn to see Isabella in the doorway, "Si."

"Did you and Aurora have fun with the new game?"

"Si," I nod. "Thank Nicolas for me."

She nods, "Dormir un poco ahora," she instructs. "Tienes clase mañana."

"Si," I say again. "You as well Isabella, I've got the extra energy of four personalities to drain."

Yes four, it's very rare for someone with DID to only have two personalities. Jace and I are the main personalities but there are three more. Alex, Nate and Ira. Alex is pretty jolly and comes out every once and a while, Nate only appears when we visit the psychiatrist and Ira only appears when either Jace or I are infuriated and ready to kill. Zameel and Rafael had to pry us off this gang of bullies who were attacking a blind homeless person. It was of course Jace in that situation since I'm not noble.

But DID is apparently a lot of work and exhausting, so Isabella is right. It's time to go to sleep and Jace will wake up in the morning. Hopefully. It's pretty much a gamble.
