Prologue
New Orleans was as beautiful as I remembered it. Even during the middle of the night the streets glowed and people were walking in the streets drunk or lost. Maybe I should grab a drink and a bite before visiting my favorite person.
"Stop here," I told the taxi driver and he halted. He looked at me through the mirror. I handed him a hundred dollar bill and stepped out. I slammed the door shut and waited for the taxi to drive off. When it did, I found myself a man who had just stumbled out of a pub.
"Hmm," I smirked as I walked over to him. He was swaying back and forth. He looked unsure as to whether or not he wanted to stay or cross the street.
"Hi there," I stood beside him and waited for him to look up. Like I expected, his eyes turned a shade darker and I tilted my head to the side. He didn't say a word but instead grabbed my arm and began dragging me somewhere.
I let him take me wherever he wanted but after several moments I decided this was taking too long. I pushed him to the nearest ally and he smirked too. He grabbed my face and made me kiss him; he tasted like a million bottles of beer. Utterly disgusting.
"You're such a bad, bad boy," I whispered into his ear before I sunk my teeth into his neck and filling the air with his screams.
