6𝚝𝚑 𝙰𝚙𝚛𝚒𝚕

~Y/n P.O.V.~

As we walked out of the house we started to aimlessly walk around in the streets. We passed lots of people and talked. One topic after another passed by, we ended up laughing to small things that happened in the past. "Remember that one time when we wanted to buy some sweets but you forgot to bring money? We ended up staying in front of the cashier, completely clueless?" Miu asked. I cringed at the thought. "Oh no please don't remind me! That was soo embarrassing.." Miu snickered. "Or that one time when you fell asleep during school and when the teacher wanted to wake you up you were like 'Only 5 more minutes'?" She reminded me. "Nooooo-" We laughed really hard.

Our conversations went on and we wanted something to snack really soon. So we went to a shop and looked out for our (favorite taste) mochis. We shared alot of our interest and tastes, that's why we always ended up buying the same things. I also bought some (favorite drink) along side with the mochis. We sat down on a bench and ate our mochis. They were so soft and tasted so good, your only option is falling in love with these. We watched the people passing by and there was a lesbian couple. They were holding hands and smiling brightly, it was sure that they were happy. They looked really cute together. I found myself looking at them more than intended, so I quickly looked awa, trying to not make things more awkward. Apparently Miu was looking at them as well, since she looked away as well and smiled, painfully. "Hey Miu, are you okay?" I asked. "Huh? Of course I am, why do you ask?" She's really bad at lying.

"Don't lie to me. You're bad at lying." I said, she quickly turned away. "It's nothing, really. If it would be that serious I would've told you anyway." she said. "You got a point but still, are you really really sure?" "I am really really sure, don't worry about it." I sighed in response. There is definitely something off with her, why doesn't she just tell me already?

(A/n: Imagine falling in love with your best friend. Surely didn't happen to me 2-3 weeks ago.)

We continued talking, but I saw that Miu didn't feel good or something messed up her mood. She- she isn't homophobic or something like that, right? No, definitely not. She wasn't raised that way. But what else could it be? "Hey Miu, are you sick or something like that? You seem quite...odd." I asked. "What? Why? I don't think I'm sick-" she said. "I touched her forehead and it was normal. I'm confused.

We then decided to continue walking, it was time to eat dinner for my stomach. "Where should we eat dinner?" I asked Miu. "I don't know- it's your choice." she said. I tilted my head and started to think.

"What about that one restaurant that newly opened? I heard many people talking about how good their food is supposed to be." Miu now tilted her head as well to think. Probably about which restaurant I meant. "Come on Miu! That one restaurant which is actually quite small?" she thought a little harder,"That one which you said that looked like a fairy exploded in it." "OHH- you mean that one? Why didn't you say so sooner! Well it looks like a fairy exploded in it butttt it also had a nice aesthetic. Okay, it's decided." I chuckled in response and we headed over to the restaurant where the fairy ex- I mean the new restaurant.

We walked there with some short conversations. As we arrived, they already lighted on some candles and some light chains which gave off a soft color of white. We sat down and soon a waitress came and handed us our menu. Miu joked about the pictures and compared it to...inappropriate things and laughed it off. We picked our food and waited until it arrived. While we waited the waitress came back with some water first. "Hey, I saw you guys pass our restaurant alot. I wanted to ask since you're so close to each other if you are...you know...dating?" she asked as I chocked on my drink. My eyes shot oped and I begun to blush. "O-Oh n-no- we aren't dating- that's a misunderstanding." I said. Yet, I thought. Miu didn't say anything to it and the waitress left. She looked away and her beautiful blonde-pinkish hair covering her face perfectly. She would usually comment stuff like that or go full on embarrassing mode, which didn't happen today though. She's acting so off lately...what happened to her?

"Hey Miu." I said. "Y-Yeah?" "Are you acting so off...because you fell in love?" It would make sense. I mean this is the first time that we interacted with other people, people who didn't bully any of us. Would that mean that it is one of our classmates? It seems like I caught her off guard and now she chocked on her water. "What are you talking about?? Of course not-"

"Here is your food, thank you for waiting." The waitress said as she interrupted our conversation for the best. I thanked her and the rest of the time went on quietly. We finished our food, paid it off and walked home. It was almost completely dark so we hurried home.
