Evening Nandu thought Manik will come to pick her up but the guards informed that Manik will be late. After going to home she cleaned the house and prepared the dinner for him.
She saw the time 11 till no trace of Manik and his phone also switched off. She sat in the sofa while waiting for him. After 1 hr Manik came fully tiered. He rang the bell and waited a while.
"I am a big fool even i am disturbing her sleep too. God" he cursed himself.
"Manik" she opened the door and hugged him tightly.
"Baby sry, I missed to inform you" he kissed her forehead.
"It's okay come let's have dinner" she smiled and took his bag.
Manik came back after freshen up. Here Nandu arranged food in the table.
"What's the dinner baby?" He asked.
"Roti and dhal, have fully Manik" she served him and filled her plate too.
"Listen baby, in absence of Anupam i will have more work in office. So pls don't starve till i come back" he said clearly.
"Fine fine, now have the food" she chuckled.
Nandu massaged Manik's head to cool him. Both ended the night with cuddling each other.
Next day Nandu woke up early and prepared everything for him. Manik got up saw the empty bed.
"I know this girl won't listen my words" he murmured and got ready to office.
"Baby i asked not to strain yourself" he shouted on her back.
"Manik you scared me" she shouted on him.
"Why always you like to annoy me?" He mocked and helped her to take the dishes from the kitchen.
"Mr.Malhotra just concentrate on your work other than this" she made him sit and served his fav aloo Paratha and methi panner.
" It's my fav baby"
"That's why i prepared it. Now have as much as you want" she chuckled.
"It's amazing baby, you too have" he forwarded a morsel near her mouth.
"Hmm no" she ran to kitchen and puked everything she had in the morning.
"What happened to you baby?" He ran after her.
"That methi smell i hate it" she said taking deep breath.
"But previous time it's not like that na? Are you okay or shall we go to doctor?" He asked wiping her sweat.
"Manik i am totally fine. Just today i am not in mood to have it. You complete the food and leave for office" she convinced him
"Okay but if you have any issues you should call me immediately" he said in concern.
"Ofcourse i will Manik you don't worry" she smiled.
"Take care of you baby. I will try to come early" he kissed her forehead and left to the office.
Nandu came back and selected a saree for her to wear. She need to hurry up as it's a big day in school.
