Chapter 3! im really proud of myself right now! well there is a surprise in this chapter, muahaha, what does this writer have in store? you won't know unless you read onwards. :)

Pit's p.o.v.

The morning light was drifting in through in between the curtains. Yawning, i stretched my hands up towards the head of the bed and i became conscious that there was something warm lying across my chest.

Out of curiousity, i shifted my gaze downwards and saw a mop of light brown hair and two tan ears. for a moment i was confused then i suddenly remembered that this was Koe. I looked down at him and started petting his hair, then i brushed it out of his face to get a better look at him.

He looked almost like an angel, his face was peaceful as he slept, and his lips were parted slightly. 'I know he's 15, but he looks so young...' i thought. As that thought occurred, so did another, I felt the need to protect him. On a whim, i pulled him closer to my chest and wrapped my arms around his slender and delicate frame.

For a long while, I sat like that, just holding him close. Soon enough, i felt him stir next to me, and for the first time i felt a small amount of happiness since i had started to live on my own. Against my chest, i could feel his eyes open and flutter slightly, then he looked up at me, his dark gray orbs still filled with sleep. He rubbed his sleep-filled eyes and looked at me slightly more aware. "what time is it?" he asked.

Turning around, i took a quick glance at the alarm clock. "It's almost 10."

"wow its that late already? let's get up!" he smiled, energetically.

meanwhile i rubbed my eyes, surprised how energetic he was so soon after waking up. He sat up in bed and started hopping around. "So what should we do today? oh oh, we sould go play on the beach! or get in the water! oh lets play ball! or eat!"

I looked at him and noticed he was still in hospital clothes and that he most likely had no other clothes, then i got an idea. "Koe, we can do that stuff later. today, i'm taking you to get some clothes."

he smiled the biggest smile i've ever seen then looked down, blushing uncontrollably. "Thats awfully sweet but I couldn't let you do that. You've done so much already..."

"psh, nonsense. Now get up and... hm... well i know my clothes are definitely too big for you, but they'll do until we get to the store." I got up and walked over to my closet and pulled out some black skinny jeans that would probably end up baggy on him, and a red T-shirt. I handed them to him and pointed to the direction of the bathroom.

As he left, i picked out my outfit: blue skinnies with chains on them and a black T-shirt. Not really caring, i stayed in the room and decided to change in there. Right as i got my pants on, Koe came out of the bathroom. I looked him over and saw that my prediction about the pants were correct, and the shirt was big on him, but it didnt look bad on him at all.

I smiled at him and he blushed, shrugging, i put my shirt on and grabbed a pair of shoes. Walking out of my bedroom door, i noticed that Koe wasnt behind me. I sighed and went back into the room and grabbed his hand, pulling him along with me. This time, I took him out through the front door, and we hopped into my van.

As i drove off, i could feel Koe's excitement coming off in waves, and the draft of air from his tail was pleasant. Not wanting a long drive, i drove to the nearest mall which was half an hour away. When we got there, i pulled into the closest spot and then walked with Koe into the oasis known as the mall.

~mini time skip~

After going through about twenty different stores, i had found him enough outfits to fill 10 shopping bags. How? No big deal really, especially when you have your parent's credit card.

It was worth it, making Koe smile like that. "Hey, Koe, we should put all of the bags out in the car and then come back and have some fun. what do you say?" I said with a smirk.

Koe's ears perked up at the word 'fun' and he smiled again, "yeah! sounds great!"

So thats what we did. when we went back in, i dont think Koe understood what i meant by fun, so i decided to show him. "Koe, follow me, and whatever i do, dont say a word, okay?"

He nodded his head and followed me into hot topic. For a while, i pretended to look around. I snuck a peek at my little follower and saw that his ears were pierced. When i got to the piercing rack, i saw fake gauges and tapped him on his shoulder. "Hey, do you like these?"

He nodded a yes in response and i smirked. "okay, well watch this."

I grabbed a pack of black and green ones off of the rack, then i grabbed Koe, held him close, and snuck the small package into his pocket. His eyes widened and i put a finger up to my lips and winked, to make sure he stayed quiet. Then i grabbed his hand and we just walked out.

That was only the first time i did it, and soon enough he started getting used to it and started doing the same. sure, i felt kind of bad teaching him that, but he looked like he was having so much fun.

For a long while, we kept it up, and afterwards we went to the big store and pantsed mannequins. We never got caught and the longer we hung out the more i could see his face lighting up.

By the time we left the mall, it was dark and probably late. We made it back to the van and just sat there for a moment, reflecting on our time. Koe stifled a yawn and then i started driving back to the house seeing that he was tired and thought, 'I couldnt have had a better day...'

well, there's that! And just so i dont get in trouble or something, i do not condone stealing! although i DO enjoy malls. so the question for this chapter is: what are your thoughts on stealing? what's your favorite store at the mall? craziest thing done ever? Im not asking for fans or anything, just wanna show my creativity :) hope you liked it XD
