Chapter 5

Santodes drove with Samara back to her house. He parked the car then went to the passenger side of the car and helped her out. He put his arm around her shoulders and she put her arm around his side. They went inside and went to the living room. Samara sat down on the couch then looked at Santodes.

"Can you bring me the tub of chocolate ice cream and a spoon please?"

He nods.

"Thank you Santodes."

He smiled at her. 

"No problem Samara."

He got the ice cream out then went into the drawer and pulled out a spoon. He brought it over to her then she opened it and started to eat some. He sat down next to her and looked at her. She looked at him. 

"What is it?"

"Nothing, just admiring."

"Alright then."

Samara sat there on the couch and Santodes watched her. 

"How do you feel love?"

She looks at him.

"I feel a bit off but mostly fine."

"Well I want you to rest for now and I will make dinner for us."

"Ok."

She sits there then turns on the tv and watches a movie. Santodes went in the kitchen and started to work on making dinner. He made prime ribs, mash potatoes and mixed vegetables. A few minutes later Samara jumps up from the couch and runs to the bathroom. She closed the door behind her. 

Santodes stopped what he was doing and went to check on her. Samara threw up every bit of ice cream she just ate. Santodes helped her by pulling her hair out of the way and rubbed her back. He grabbed the nausea medicine and gave it to her. She took some then sat on the edge of the tub. 

Samara spent the first month sick and mostly in bed. Santodes told their boss that she was sick in bed, but that she would be better soon. Once Samara was able to get up out of bed and not be sick, she went back to doing jobs with Santodes. When Samara started showing she started hiding from the big boss. She was afraid if he found out about her and Santodes that he would kill Santodes, their baby and her.

Santodes covered for her as her time slowly got closer. For 8 and 1/2 months Santodes enjoyed watching Samara and their baby grow. He stayed with her and comforted her every moment he could. When he had to go on jobs he came home to her right away then went to turn in the bounty. She enjoyed every moment that he spent with her. 

Around 2am one day, Samara's water broke in her sleep. She woke up quickly feeling the pain and quickly woke Santodes up. He carried her to the bathroom and set her in the tub. He helped her take off her lower clothing then ran off to get some things. By the time he got back she was already fully dilatated. 

He propped her up with towels behind her and held her hand as she pushed. After about 30 minutes their baby was born. Santodes carefully cleaned the baby off then handed it to Samara. He smiled happily as she held their baby in her arms. 

"It a baby boy."

She smiled.

"Yes.. and his name will be Jaiden.."

Santodes smiled and kissed her head. 

"Its perfect darling."

She smiled back at him as she held Jaiden. 

Santodes changed the bedding on the bed, then helped clean her up. 

After that he helped her up and took her back into the bedroom. 

He helped her into bed and propped her up against some pillows. 

He then went down to the kitchen and got her something to drink then came back upstairs.

"Here i brought you some water love."

"Thank you my love."

She drank some the put the cup on the night table.

Santodes sat next to her on the bed and looked at Jaiden then smiled. 

"He has your golden eyes Samara."

"But he has your soft cheeks Santodes."

He smiled at her and she smiled back. She laid there holding Jaiden close as he fell asleep in her arms. Santodes smiled and kissed his head. A few hours later Samara got up and laid him in a bassinet that Santodes had put next to the bed. She laid back down in bed and watched him as he slept, then soon after she and Santodes fell asleep as well.
