Aggression Foxhole

A loud siren was going off.

Code woke up in a completely white room with a hospital bed dead in the centre, there was a door behind him on the left wall and a large glass window right in front of him.

He looked down at his leg, it was wrapped up in a bandage but felt completely healed there was no blood or anything.

He wondered how long he had been out for.

He lifted his head to look through the window in front of him, many people were runnning from the right side of the window to the left.

He kept watching everyone go by they were all dressed in black. Until two figure caught his eye, A man who was tall with dark hair had a bullet vest on with guns placed all around his body, two on his back two on his side and probably more hidden somewhere.

He had bulky arms, you could tell he worked out a lot from the veins popping out.

Next to him was a women with a leather jacket , leather jeans and high heeled boots, her hair was wavy and her posture was upright.

As they hastily walked down the corridor everyone circled around them as they went. Only for a split second did he see the woman catch his eye. before they both disappeared from his view.

He looked around the room before he saw some black jeans and his black short sleeved t-shirt hung up on the wall, he was wearing a hospital gown and so whilst trying to keep himself covered he changed into the clothes.

He decided to attempt to leave but before he could the same man who had punched him slammed open the door.

Code took a few steps back before the man stared at him and said 'Come with me'.

Code didn't want to get knocked out again so he followed the man towards the direction everyone else was going where the siren had come from.

As he walked through the sewer like tunnel he saw a crowd of people gathering at the end. When him and the man got to there they came into a large open space a giant concrete dome with different levelled squares placed around that looked like they were for fighting in.

Code stood and admired it all, before he got dragged by the man up to stand at the front of the group.

The man and woman from earlier stood up on one of these levelled squares, stood closest to the podium was the man who knocked him out as well as 5 other men with similar clothes and facial expressions.

The man turned round to face the crowed, code stood at the front.

'It was just a drill no wilds got in here today'

The crowed groaned some punching one another saying how they were right about the drill until all attention was back on the two of them.

'So hunters' the woman looked down at the six men 'What have you got for me'

Each of the men walked out into the crowd and grabbed the people who looked most scared and brought them forward.

The man who had punched code dragged him forwards to stand next to the other two, the woman wasn't interested on who they brought until she eventually turned around to look at all six of them.

She walked past all of them eyeing them one by one until she got to code, She looked down at his leg in between the rip in his jeans to see his bandage.

She looked a little fed up. She turned to the hunters.

'So', she smiled with a hint of sarcasm in her voice. By the faces of the hunters it seemed like this was a bad thing.

'which one of you brought this one' She pointed right at Code

All of the hunters turned to the one that had punched him in the face

'So Charles was this you'

He nodded and mumbled 'but...

'Get out' 

Charles hung his head low before returning to the tunnel.

one of the hunters spoke up and said 'He found..'

the woman turned back around 'Do you want to go too'

She tilted her head as if to say dont answer back.

She was quite young facial features wise but by the way she spoke she seemed quite strong especially around men, she was one of very few women in this place and so it seemed she had to seem tough to get through to them and assure them of her power.

She walked back over to Code

'still you cant be that useless'

She stood in front of him as the crowd backed away code didn't move a muscle.

'do something' she said'

'What' code mumbled shyly

She crossed her arms, ' i dont know, Wow me' She said lifting her shoulders and widening her eyes.

Before he knew it she had flicked her fingers for one of the hunters to come at him.

The man threw a fist at Code but he dodged it.

Code wasn't one to fight back so he kept avoiding the mans punch, until after a few seconds he realised he wasn't getting out of it by dodging each punch.

He remembered what his dad had trained him for if the wild were ever to attack. So as he ducked this mans punch he used his fist to hit him in his gut.

The man a little shocked along with the rest of the crowd except the woman took a step back as they all stared at him, the mans anger grew as he lunged at him again, Code ducked underneath his arm and pushed his weight so he fell onto the floor.

Code backed up nearer to where the podium was where the woman and man were standing on top of. He saw the man get up and start running full speed towards him he remembered what his Father told him, to use their weight against themselves so he used that to his advantage and the man ended up face first against the floor not being able to move much.

Code a little scared at the consequences of his actions looked around at everyone, he looked up at the man wearing the bullet vest who was slightly smirking whilst nodding his head a little. Before he turned to the women.

She kept her glare fixed on Code. You could tell she was impressed by her eyes but she kept a straight face before tilting her head looking him up and down. 'not bad broken boy' she turned round to the other hunters 'someone go get Charles back', Code knew that this meant he wasn't so useless after all. Before long she looked back to code still with an impressed face but with her it was extremely hard to tell.

'What do they call you then' she said

'Code'

'hmm' she scrunched her nose up at his name

'I prefer broken boy'.

A/N - I hope you enjoyed this chapter, if you haven't figured it out already the woman is Aya but i have a way i want to introduce her name in the next chapter which is why you dont hear about it in this one.

It's just a brief introduction to her in this chapter because i wanted to establish her authority in the foxhole.

She's not totally scary she just needs some time to warm up, and by that i mean she warms up to Code, just you wait ;)
