My Brothers Best friend ; JJ Maybank

Chapter 1.

you wake up to your alarm going off, it's 7 am, another beautiful day in LA California.. you moved to Cali when your parents got divorced back when you were 13, you're now 16. you used to live in the OuterBanks with your mom, dad, and big brother, John B. after 3 years of not seeing your Brother you finally get to go visit for the summer while your moms away for work. you get up, shower, brush your teeth and hair, then get in your car and get to school.
After School
you get home from school and finish packing for the Outer Banks, you leave tomorrow! after you get done packing, it's about 2 am. you get into a crop top and some sweatpants before laying in bed and falling asleep.
The Next Morning
you wake up at around 7 so you can get on the plane, then get on the ferry to get to the Outer Banks, before you leave you hug your mom even though you guys didn't have the best relationship. lots of fights, and sleepless nights, but you loved her cause she was your mom. after that you get in an uber and leave to the airport!
Arriving
after many hours of many different types of transportation, you finally arrived in the Outer Banks. you get off the ferry and text John B cause he was the one picking you up

Y/N: i just got off the ferry, where are you?
JB: be there in 5
Y/N: okay
5 minutes later
you look up from your phone to see your big brother, who you hadn't seen in 3 years, you ran over and hugged him. after about 3 minutes of hugging, he helps you load your luggage into his van. after that he gets in the drivers seat and you sit in copilot seat. you guys drive back to John B's house, which is soon to be yours for the next couple months! you guys arrive and you go into the room John B pointed to, you walk in to see a tall, blonde, blue eyed boy changing his shirt, you quickly apologize and shut the door. John B laughs
JB: oh sorry about that, that's JJ's room. yours is that one
Y/N: oh thanks john b, you know that would've been nice to know before walking in on your friend half naked *giggles*
*jj walks out*
Y/N: sorry about that, John B told me that was my room
JJ: it's okay, your john bs sister right?
Y/N: yeah, it's nice to meet you, i'm Y/N
JJ: it's nice to meet you too, i'm JJ
*you both smile then you return to your room with all your luggage*
you start to unpack, making your room feel more like home, until you hear 2 girls giggling , you walk out of your room to see 2 girls, and 3 boys out in the living room
John B: hey Y/N come here, this is my sister everyone, shes gonna be staying with me for the summer
Kie: omg hii, i'm Kiara but you can call me Kie
Sarah: it's so nice to meet you and to finally have another girl in the group to help us keep track of these idiots, i'm Sarah btw
Pope: hi, i'm pope
Y/N: *giggles* it's nice to meet you guys
*JJ walks out from the kitchen after grabbing something*
John B: oh yea, and this is JJ as you've met..
Y/N: yeah hi, sorry again about that
JJ: it's all good
*JJ sits next to you, you notice his dirty blonde hair, and how messy it was, and it beautiful blue eyes, along with his soft lips, you got snapped back to reality by Kie*
Kie: so Y/N whats it like in LA?
everyone turns to you look at you, you could feel JJ's light blue eyes piercing your face as you talk, which made you kinda nervous...
Y/N: it's okay, i mean it's nice but it gets boring after a while, just a lot of pretty people with ugly personalities
JJ: sounds like kooklandia
everyone giggles at JJ's comment
John B: oh btw, just to fill you in, there's pogues and kooks. i suggest staying away from kooks, then the pogues, that's us. you can take a good guess about the difference
JJ: we should go on the boat
Kie: i'm down
you guys all go get ready for getting on the boat, it was getting late so it was probably gonna be colder, you put on a sweater crop top, with some shorts, with your bikini under it. you guys get on the boat, you all have your beers, John B's driving, while you and the pogues are just hanging out. John B then stops the boat for y'all to just hang out, you get up, and stand on the side of the boat to look into the beautiful water, just then your big brother thought it would be SO funny to push you into the water, FULLY CLOTHED.
Y/N: JOHN B, WHAT THE FUCK
they are all laughing, one by one they all jump in with you, after a while pope and kie were hanging out, and john b and sarah were being a couple lmao you and JJ start talking just about whatever, until you feel something touch your leg, you scream and latch onto JJ without thinking, your legs around his waist and your arms around his neck, you realize that and jump off apologizing..
Y/N: i-i'm so sorry, something touched my leg and i didn't realize-
JJ: it's okay *laughing*
JB: what happened?
JJ: something scared her
Y/N: i swear something grabbed my leg..
Kie: ew, i'm getting out
sarah: same
you all get out, your clothes were still soaked from when JB pushed you in, so you were in your bathing suit, wrapped in a towel, freezing, while everyone had their dry clothes. JJ notices you freezing and he takes off his hoodie and gives it to you
JJ: here *hands you his hoodie*
Y/N: you don't have to JJ, i'm fine
JJ: take it Y/N
you smile at him softly and put on his hoodie
Kie whispering to John B: what was that all about?
John B: i don't know, but i don't like it.
you guys get back to John B's house after a while, it's around 1 am, everyone's drunk and giggling. JJ helps you out of the boat, and you all go into John B's house. you all say goodnight to each other, and you see JJ walking to his room to go to bed, you stop him
Y/N: hey jj, here's your hoodie back
JJ: keep it, you look better in it
Y/N: are you sure?
JJ: yeah, i'll see you in the morning, goodnight
Y/N: night maybank
you go back to your room and lay in bed to go to sleep while still wearing JJ's hoodie...
