Ink didn't know what he was going to do now. Sci prescribed him some pain killers and gave him some more common sense advice, like how alcohol, smoking and drugs were a no-no.

Was this going to affect his sex life?

The two sans walked back to Dream, who was still sat waiting. "So, you alright?" The Prince asked.
"Uh, yeah, turns out it was just a case of appendicitis," the artist giggled, "but we removed it pretty quick so it's fine." He smiled, his hands held behind his back.

"Oh, skeletons can have that?" Dream asked, Ink heard a slight mumble from the scientist.
"Yep, it's rare though!" The short sans grinned, making his way over to the other, signalling that he wanted to go home.

Ink sighed as he sat in his small, dark bedroom. Old drawings and paintings were scattered across the red, carpeted floor, he lay on his bed, thinking about how he will tell the king about this new information.
Slapping a hand on his forehead, he sighed, grabbing his phone from the small, ebony table beside him, he was quick to dial a certain number.

Calling cock daddy...

"Hello?" Ink heard from the other side.
"Hello, Night, we need to talk." Ink knew he sounded tired.
"What about?"
"Stuff that needs to be talked about in person.." The artist frowned, "it's very important."

Nightmare felt a small wave of panic. Did Ink know about what happened between him and Cross? He held his breath, why should it matter? He and Ink's relationship isn't serious... right?
"Ok." He sighed, "do you want to meet me in dreamtale?"

"No, let's meet somewhere else, like.. uh... swapfell?" Ink asked.
"Sure." Nightmare didn't think to question the randomness of it, he just wanted to know what Ink had to say that was so important that they had to meet in person.
"Ok, Night, I'll see you in a sec."

The phone call ended abruptly, Nightmare groaned, he opened a portal, he wasn't busy and made his way to swapfell's snowdin.

He stood by a tree and waited for his partner, wondering what the conversation will be about. Could it be about Cross? If so, then why would it be in person, if it isn't about cross then what? Did Ink just want to end it with him? What if it's about- Nightmare's thoughts were abruptly stopped as he saw a large splatter of Ink.
He held his breath as he saw the artist emigre from the splat.

"Hello." The king greeted.
"What's up?" Ink asked, he scratched the back of his neck.
"I.. don't know, you're the one who called me here."
"Ah,.... yes." Ink thought for a second about how he could tell Nightmare about this. "We.. need-"
"We need to talk, I know."

Ink looked into Nightmare's aggressive-looking eye, other times, he would find the way he stared down at him attractive, but now, he could only cower under it.

"So, I was thinking we c- could, ur." Ink cringed as he stuttered, "take our relationship to the next level- and become serious- if you want!" Ink stumbled across his words as he rapidly spat them out. he avoided the gaze of the king as he patiently waited for his answer.

"Why?" Nightmare asked, his arms were crossed. "Oh, because erm, I- just- well-," at that moment, Ink hated himself. "W- what do you think about.. kids- or- or just having one child?" He winced, trembling slightly.

"You're.... pregnant?" Nightmare asked, by his monotone voice, Ink couldn't tell if he was happy or dissatisfied.
"Yes." Ink frowned.
"Well, I guess I could settle, put taking over the multiverse behind me for a second, or a year or two." He smiled warmly, a tentacle gently pushed Inks chin to look at him.

"Thank you." Ink smiled.
"So, I guess that this kid is going to connect us forever." Nightmare smiled to himself- "plus, I'm not an 'official' king yet." He felt a warmth in his chest as he watched Ink giggle. "So, how about we get married?" He asked.
"Yes! Let's do that! We can do it in December before the kid is due!"
