"So, let me gEt thIs...'sTrAighT'." Error crossed his arms. "W-W-Weee aLl hAve tO gO anD fIghT tHe StAr ShiTs, bUt hE, eveN though hEz beeeen hereeeee— hereee for a MontH, HE, beIng oNe oF tHe mOsT pOwErfUl sAn's iN tHe mUltIvErsE... he stays here?"

Nightmare scowled as all eyes were on him. Well, except Ink's. He was sat next to Nightmare, his eye lights were also on the glitch.

"Yep." Nightmare said, his face remained the same.

"B-/-But wHy?"
Ink was surprised that no one asked sooner. Excluding him and Night, Cross was probably the smartest, then Error then...Ink was convinced that the murder trio share a braincell.

Nightmare opened his mouth to give one of his usual excuse of why Ink can't or won't or whatever. It was always the same type of reply;
"He can't because I want to do some other work with him" or "I don't want the star shits to try and convince him back on their side" or whatever..

Ink shook his head and looked at Nightmare.

"Because he's pregnant."

"What?" He mumbled.

All eyes were now on Dust, who, when feeling a dozen pairs of eyes on him, looked up from his phone and shrugged.
"You guys didn't know? It's obvious, innit?" There was a slight crack in his voice as a feeling of dread washed over him.

Yep, one-third of a brain cell.

"Is this true?" Asked Cross, raising a brow and joining in on the conversation.

"Of fucking course it is!" Killer laughed.

"So who's the daddy, Inky?" Horror asked in his deep tone.
Killer nudged him on the shoulder,
"Boss, remember?" He rolled his eyes.

Ink looked at Error for a split second and felt the glitch cringe as the two made eye contact.
1...2...3...4...
"I'm LEAvIng." The glitch threw up an arm and walked out of the dining room.

"So... is it true?" Horror asked.

Ink looked at Nightmare.
"This must be embarrassing for him," he thought.

The last thing Nightmare wanted was for Ink to panic. He felt a sense of dread crawling up his spine.
"Yes." He stood, the room seemed to get darker as the King's tentacles grew and wrapped around the vintage walls.
"But if you ever hurt him." His voice grew dark. "You will suffer."

As Error teleported back to his anti void, he immediately felt another presence there.
Turning, Error was met with a familiar face he wasn't so happy to see.
"D-DrEam... WWHatt aRe yoU doinG heRe, sTupId hIghlIghtEr?" He asked, drawing royal blue strings from his sockets.

Dream looked behind him and gulped, taking a step closer to the glitch. "You... want Ink dead... right?" He asked.
"yEs. And?"

Dream cleared his throat.
"There's an... organisation who are.. planning to assassinate Ink once he's had his chi-"
"BUllShIt! IIIfff aNyOne I ss KILling tHaT fReak, iTs mE e!" He yelled.
"No- I need you to tell Nightmare." Dream whispered.
"AnD wHy shOuld I?" Error asked back.
"you said it yourself, if anyone is killing Ink, its you!"

Error thought for a while...

"Fine."  He put his hands in his pockets and made a portal back to the snowy castle.

"Did you succeed?" A voice called.
"Didn't you hear?" Dream frowned. "He wants to kill Ink alone."

"Then let him be ignorant."
