Jealousy (Chapter 9)

"Actually I had called to let you know that me and dad are coming to Seoul tomorrow." "Oh really? So soon. You didn't tell me earlier." "Thought to give you a surprise." She said with a happy tone. "Yeah..." "You don't sound happy?" "No no I am happy that you guys are coming back finally after a month." "I guess you are loving your stay at the dorm?" "Yeah mom." "It's okay you can stay there." "But I wanna spend some days with you then I'll come back." Jihyo who was listening to my side of the conversation whole time looked confused. "As you wish. Now I'll cut the call as it's late and you should sleep." "Yeah mom bye. Good night." "Good night." Mom and Dad both said from the other side. "What happened?" "I'll go back to my home tomorrow for a week or so." "Your parents are coming back?" "Seems like it." "They didn't tell earlier?" "Yeah they wanted to give a surprise but guess what, I like living here with you but still I'll stay with them for the next week." "It's okay eonnie. I can live alone for a week." "You sure?" "Yes." "Okay then. Let me pack my things." I didn't pack all of my things as I was gonna return here.

~Next morning- Cafeteria~

"Hey guys. How you all doing?" I said taking a seat with the group finally after so many days. "We are good. Welcome back and it's good to know everything's fine between you two now." Jin said. I just smiled. "There's something I need to tell you all." "Yeah?" Hoseok replied. "I am going back to my home today for a week as my parents are coming back or might have actually returned to Seoul already." "So what about Jihyo?" Kook asked. "About that, I want you to take Jihyo's responsibility and make sure no one harms her whenever I am not around. Just for a week. You can do that right?" "Yeah of course noona." "Good. And Hoseok...I am sorry I failed you." Everyone looked at you with a confused expression. "Hoseok had asked me to trust Namjoon and never break his heart but that's what I did, not put my belief in him and hurt him..." "Drishti it's fine now. No need to think about it." "Thanks."

*Namjoon's POV*
As the classes were over and Drishti was going to her home today now I was walking her till the gate while holding hands. Drishti pulled her hand back suddenly while she was looking in the front acting weird and awkward. "What happened?" "Aah...nothing." We both went till the car to see a unknown male standing there whom Drishti just hugged. Well- unknown for me. "Who's he?" I asked. "Oh he." She paused for a second. "He's my childhood friend Shubman." "And Shubman he is my uni friend Namjoon." "You both chat here. I'll go and bring my suitcase." She returned in a few minutes and loaded the suitcase in the back of the car. "Okay bye Namjoon." "Bye." I said not so happy.

It's been 2 consecutive days that his friend comes to drop and pick her up at the uni. Not gonna lie I am little jealous. Just a lil bit because he knows her more than me and they look quite close to each other. And also she has been hanging out with Soobin lately. She would just say no to hang out with me coz she has some "important" stuff to discuss with him.

"Drishti." "Hmm..." She said looking at her phone. "Let's hang out together today." "We are already hanging out together Joon. We are in the hideout alone that too bunking our classes." She was still in her phone typing something. "No I mean let's hang out after uni. Let's go on a date." "I can't I have some work after uni." "With Soobin?" "Yes." She now finally looked up from her phone to see my reaction. "Will you just tell me what's this "work" you both always have." I said with finger quotes. "Well I can't tell you that. Sorry." "Do I even matter anymore?" "Joon you have lost it seriously. Obviously you do. I love you after all." "If you do then you won't deny to tell me." I said looking away. "You don't even trust me. Okay then, come and meet me today in the XX cafe in the mall at 5 pm." She left.
