Strong.

What exactly does "strong" mean?

Someone who is powerful is self-assured and committed, and is not easily swayed or worried by anyone.

this is how most people describe strong, which is neither inaccurate nor wrong, but it is not how I define strong.

Personally, I believe that a strong person is someone who has had their life turned upside down many times but still chooses to rise and carry on.

As someone once said, "Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength."

That is what I mean when I say my mother is strong.

Given what she has been through, she continues to smile, to be compassionate, and to look at the bright side.

No one in my mother's family approved of her marriage; they felt she was too young and that my father wasn't the right choice for her because of his financial condition. But she stood against everyone because of love. She always says, and I quote, "a person who truly loves you will never let you go, no matter how hard the situation is."

They faced everything in life together, the good and the poor, the bitter and the sweet, and they were both happy even though life were tight. They were grateful.

After a few years of my father working day and night, my mother decided to pitch in, but she didn't want to just work somewhere; she wanted to start her own business, so she opened a school.

It wasn't easy, but she didn't give up; she fought tirelessly for her dream day and night before it became a reality; she became a woman in charge of a whole school, she worked as a teacher, a principal, and a boss, and she was willing to go to any length to make her dream come true.

She treated everyone equally, without hierarchy, with kindness; she cherished everyone, and everyone loved and respected her in return.

Even despite it all, she was also a strong mother who knew how to find a balance between her job and her family, which I found fascinating.

She worked so hard all morning and then came home to cook, clean, and even help me with my studies. She'd be drained, but she'd keep a grin on her lips, indifferent to the fact that she was exhausted.

I know she will always protect me, forgive me, inspire me, support me, and most importantly, love me.

So dear mother, since the day I was small till the day I became tall since I became understanding things till the day I got my own wings, your love has never fallen short you have been my only support, I want to hold you tight and hug you I just want to say, Thank you.
