The drive to save her

PREVIOUSLY:

Her eyes close slowly and her breathing slows. I lay there with her warm body next to mine and the sound of the water hitting the boat. I slowly reach over and turn the lantern off. Drifting off myself smiling at the scene inside the boat sleep takes over me like a soft black blanket.

SATURDAY MORNING.

Levi's POV:

I woke up with small arms wrapped around me so closely. Her head on my chest and her breathing in sync with mine. I brush some hair from her face as the morning light shines through.

I slowly undo her death grip on my shirt and cover her up with a blanket. I walk slowly back to the captions chair, glancing back every other step to make sure she was still sleeping.

I slowly sit down in the captain's chair and turn the key to hear a low hum of the engine. With one swift move I turn us around without tossing us around.

Heading back towards the house many Dolphins poke there heads through the surface of the water to show off. Throwing themselves in the air gracefully and letting gravity take its course as they come back down.

Once I come into view of the house she starts to stir in her sleep. I move the boat faster so I can hopefuly get the boat docked before she wakes up. I pull into the dock and quickly jump out of the boat so I can tie it down so it wont drift away.

Once the boat was tied down and the movement stopped I looked back inside the boat. She was still sleeping so I decided to let her sleep a while longer and take in some of the other stuff.

I got the sleeping gear I used and the lantern and walked back to the house. The grass under my feet as I walked towards the house were cold and slightly wet from the morning dew. I drew the keys from my pocket to unlock the front door and went inside the house to put away the gear. I placed the things on the floor and going back to get Claire.

The boat is rocking slightly as if someone were jumping inside of it, I hear the sound of tires on gravel in the back of the house. I run to where I heard the sound come from, I see a black sports car take off out of the drive way.

Panic starts to set in as I put the pieces together of what had happen. I stand in that one spot for a while taking all of this in, someone kidnapped Claire. I kick some dirt and walk back to the boat just to double check my hypothises. I was correct once I looked into the boat all I saw were the blankets and pillow on opposite sides on the boat and no sign of Claire.

I turned out of the boat and ran for Eva and Ella's house. Once I reached the door I took it off it's hinges and ran right into the house.

"ELLA, EVA." I screamed and ran upstairs to search for them. I kicked open every door determined to find at least one of them. I got to the last room and the door was wide open, Ella and Eva were standing in the doorway.

"Yes Levi?" Ella asked annoyed that I had just burst into their house and damaging almost everything.

"Claire's been kidnapped. I didn't see by who, all I saw was a black sports car leaving and Claire was no where." I spit out while walking inside the house. I run upstairs and start putting things into a bag.

"What are you doing?" Eva says as she leans up against the door frame with one eyebrow raised and her arms crossed. Ella comes in behind her on her phone talking to someone with an unimpressed look on her face.

"So we just wait until you get here? Almost a full 24 hours? Thanks but no thanks, you're welcome to join us when you arrive but were leaving now." Ella says looking at her sister and nodding her head outside the door.

I keep packing my bag and head out the house grabbing a set of keys not even caring what car. I press the button and look for the matching car a Sleek black sports car with white detail. I waste no time while walking towards the fast I press the button to the garage door and the button to the trunk. Throwing my bag in the trunk leaving it open for the twins to put there bags I swing the drivers door open and slide inside. I quickly put the car into reverse and peal out of the garage. I close the garage door not knowing when we'd be back and throw the car into drive.

The trunk lid is bobbing up and down as I fly over the the twins. I pull right up to the door and lay on the horn. After a few seconds I hear the sound of feet and two body's come out the door closing it behind them. They place there bags in the trunk shutting it close and slide in the back.

Ella pulled out a laptop and began typing while Ella took her phone out calling someone. Which reminded me, I should call the owner of the home and tell him we would be gone for a while.

I pull out my phone while driving like a mad man taking all back roads to get us back on the main land waiting for any real directions from the twins. I dial the owner and get his answering machine.

"At the time please recorded your message. When you are finished press the pound key for more options. 'Beep'." The phone said in a monotone girl robot voice.

"Hey this is Levi, we rented the beach house of yours and had to leave suddenly. We still have things at the house but wanted to let you know we wouldn't be there for quite a while if you had something's you wanted to close up or safety things. We won't be able to come back until this is resolved, we had a family emergency. Sorry this is such short notice. Again this is Levi and we're sorry that we had to leave thanks for understanding. Goodbye." With that I ended the call and focused on the road.

I was in a blind fury, my wolf wasn't happy. I gripped the car wheel so tight my knuckles turned white. My jaw is clenched shut and so any thoughts are running though my head at this moment.

"Yeah. Okay, we'll check in every so often and hope to catch up or you catch up which ever way this will work. Thank you Alpha will do, we know. Yeah Levi is driving, he's not happy, yeah she's on the computer, probably, let's hope so, yeah, uh huh, goodbye." Ella said I'm guessing talking to the alpha telling him about everything we know so we could get this figured out as soon as possible.

"How did they find us out here" Eve said looking at the computer screen with squinted eyes.

"I have no idea, but they're good. We just have to be better." Ella said to her sister giving her an encouraging smile.

"Levi turn right." Eve said looking up at the road and back down at her computer. As if she had some sort of map on it.

I turn right just as she said but with a questioning look on my face.

"You got a map back there you're hiding." I said while looking through the mirror to see the twins.

"Yeah, we bugged her phone for safety you know. The only lead we have right now. We have to take it, it's better then nothing." She said while looking around outside the car and back at her computer.

"Take another right." She said as we got to an intersection.

"I guess I just hope she still has her phone on her and they didn't take it any yet." I said with hope in my voice.

"Let's hope, take a left." Eve said while sighing. I could tell this was gonna be a long day.

The 'Go left', 'Go right', 'Keep going straight' went on for the rest of the night.
