FRIDAY NIGHT:

Previously:

I slowly lift my head and I see a great big wolf staring back at me.

Claire's POV:

The couch we were once sitting on was knocked over backwards the rug that was tossed carelessly on the floor is on the other side. The chair that faced that TV now faces the floor, and the wolf continues to stare.

The blackness of the wolf shines in the light. His cloudy gray eyes standing out from the rest of him. His head cocked to the side almost confused.

I get up slowly and walk towards the wolf. I stop in arms length and reach my arm out. It sniffs my hand then bows its head for me to touch it.

My hand lightly glides over its smooth fur. The soft individual hairs gliding between my fingers. Like silk on a brand new dress.

The giant sized dog laid on the floor with his paws up in the air. I begin to rub its stomach when the stairs creaked. We both looked over and saw the twins trying to carefully go down the stairs without making a sound and failing.

Eve smiled and says,
"We were just getting some fresh air." As they continued to walk down and out.

The wolf got up and walked into another room. Leaving me confused, I turn the furniture back over and in the correct spot.

Levi comes back in the room smiling from ear to ear.

"I hope you can understand the way I acted this morning wasn't because I'm crazy. Maybe soon enough you will understand better." He says walking over towards me with his arms out. I take his invitation for a hug as a sign of accepting his apology and explanation.

We walk out of the house going towards the big front porch. Looking for the twins so I can say thank you, they seem to be nowhere.

I shrug it off, they must have gone back to their house. Levi sits down and pulls me on to his lap. He whispers raspy into my ear,
"You know I can't stand not having physical contact with you."

His grip gets harder as I tense up. I realize that almost as soon as it happen and lean into him a little more. He let go not completely but a little bit which made me feel better.

I look out on to the body of water in front of us. I see green plants floating above the surface. Dolphins pop up to the surface every once in a while and I see bubbles rising to the surface everywhere.

Boats go by and every time they do, they wave. Small boats with a few people or big boats with lots of people. Being close to Levi made me happy inside and out. We won't take things to fast, I'd like to go slow.
